Virgie Arthur In Court Battle For Dannielynn

Anna Nicole Smith’s mother, Virgie Arthur, is in a Bahamas courthouse right now, attempting to remove 5-month old Dannielynn, from the care of Howard K. Stern.
Yesterday, Arthur filed an official complaint at a local police station, which saidshe was worried about Dannielynn’s safety in the care of Stern.
“Her only concern in all of this is getting the baby away from Howard Stern,” said David Lee, a spokesman for Arthur. “She will do whatever she can to get the child away from [him].”
Lee also said that the day after Anna’s death, Arthur went to the local Social Services department and two police stations “trying to find someone to do something” and that “the police promised to look into it.”
“There is an injunction to prevent the baby from leaving the Bahamas,” Arthur’s attorney said.
Sources say that this latest move by Virgie was unexpected, and that it has greatly angered Anna’s partner, Howard K. Stern.
A nasty show-down seems inevitable…
