At this year’s American Music Awards, short, glitzy dresses were all the rage with the ladies. Almost everyone was wearing one at some stage in the evening, from High School Musical skank Vanessa Hudgens, to Fergie and Pussycat Nicole.

Even Avril got a bit of glitz happening!

Beyonce, once again, opted for the long, hippy mermaid-style number. At least she’s got the royal wave down pat this year.
