Terri Irwin’s Emotional Aussie Interview

For those of you who missed it (the interview was aired on Aussie TV last night at 8.30pm AEST), or don’t live in Australia, you can view the interview in parts on the Ninemsn website.
*Terri Irwin and interviewer Ray Martin, at the Australia Zoo Memorial. This was the first time Terri had seen what the fans had done for Steve and his family, and she was so emotionally over-whelmed by all the support. She said “Thank you Australia!”
This is some of what Terri had to say last night…
On Steve’s funeral and final resting place: “He lived life so big that he just wanted some personal privacy at that point and I gave him that.”
On receiving ‘that’ phone call: “I was always worried about him diving…And I’m thinking ‘don’t say it, don’t say it, don’t say it.’ But he said those three words. He said ‘and he died’.”
On her life with Steve: “It was a fairytale. You know why I’m so lucky, I knew it when I lived it. It wasn’t always easy, but it was magical.”
She did such a good job and she was so brave! Hang in there, Terri, the world is here for you!!
