Tara Reid Down Under
Seeing how much Paris Hilton has done for Bondi Beach (with publicity), advertising guru John Singleton had decided to give hiring a famous blonde another go…this time opting for American Pie star, Tara Reid, to give some International exposure to this week’s Magic Millions racing carnival on the Gold Coast.
On her list of ‘to-dos’ while down in Oz has so far been being a celebrity spot bidder for yesterday’s yearling sales, and taking a dip with the dolphins at Seaworld.
She arrived in sunny Queensland via Brisvegas on Wednesday, after a 33-hour flight from South America, where she was holidaying. She will spend this Saturday all dolled up for the races.
Tara said that swimming with the dolphins will definitely be the highlight of her Australian tour. “It was unbelievable. It was one of the most magical moments of my life. I think this is my favourite experience, it’s amazing.”
“It’s so funny because in America everyone has dreams of what they want to do. That’s one of the things I’ve always wanted to do in my life and never accomplished and I just did now. I’m on a tour high.”
Despite the fact that she’s being paid around half a million Australian dollars to promote the Magic Millions, Tara insists she’s having a fantastic time, and loves the Gold Coast.
