Mark Wahlberg Marries

It’s the weekend of celebrity weddings and engagements, with actor Mark Wahlberg joining the long list of newly-committed (in the romantic sense!) celebs by wedding his longtime girlfriend, model Rhea Durham, on Saturday.

The happy couple, who already have three children – Ella Rae, Michael, and Brendan Joseph – tied the knot at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills in front of an intimate collection of close friends and family.

The bride wore a white, strapless Marchesa dress with silver embroidery, while Wahlberg donned a classic, dark suit for the occassion.

“[Rhea] looked like a princess and beyond stunning. Mark looked ecstatic,” an onlooker said shortly after the ceremony.

Wahlberg first announced his plans to marry Durham earlier in the year, telling People.com at the time that he and his model beau were “talking about August,” but hadn’t yet decided on a location.

Harrison & Calista Engaged

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are finally engaged!

The 66-year-old star Indiana Jones surprised his long-time girlfriend with an engagement ring over the Valentine’s Day weekend, sources close to the couple have confirmed.

Ford and Flockhart, 44, who shot to fame with the legal drama Ally McBeal, have been together for seven and a half years, and have one adopted son, Liam.

No wedding date has been set as yet, and calls to reps for both actors have not been returned. Congratulations to the happy couple and their respective families.

Bilson & Christensen Engaged

Rachel Bilson and her lightsaber-toting beau, Hayden Christensen, are engaged, according to reports.

The couple, who met and hooked up while filming the 2008 sci-fi film, Jumper, got engaged over the Christmas holidays, a close friend of Bilson’s has revealed.

“They’re so excited,” the friend said. “They’re a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief.”

No wedding date has been set as yet, the pal added.

When contacted for confirmation on the surprise engagement, reps for both Bilson and Christensen refused to comment.

“I don’t comment on my clients’ personal lives,” Bilson’s rep said.

Bilson, who got her big break in teen series The O.C., previously dated Adam Brody (another co-star!), and came close to marrying him before the pair split in 2006.

Fergie Gets Married

Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel have married in a Malibu vineyard.

The former Black Eyed Peas singer and Las Vegas star first announced their engagement at the end of 2007, after dating for three years. They exchanged designer H. Stern rings in an “ultra-private” ceremony at the Church Estates Vineyards in California late on Saturday afternoon.

It was a monochromatic wedding, with the bride, groom and entire wedding party decked out in black and white Dolce & Gabbana. Fergie wore a fitted, corseted, ruched wedding gown in white with a mesh tulle overlay, spaghetti straps, and a long train.

Fergie’s manager has confirmed the marriage, releasing a short statement to Usmagazine.com earlier today.

“It’s official!” her manager said. “Fergie and Josh tied the knot in Malibu. The Black Eyed Peas were all there. The ceremony was incredible! And they’re still partying!”

Tom Cruise Gives Spencer Pratt Marriage Advice

Tom Cruise has given marriage advice to Spencer Pratt, following his Mexican elopement last month.

Cruise told the Great Pratt that he’s made a “mistake” marrying beau Heidi Montag in an intimate, Mexican ceremony, because it wasn’t the huge wedding she’d always envisioned.

“If the girl wants the wedding, you gotta do the wedding,” Cruise said. “It’s a special occasion, and she’ll remember it forever. Spencer… dude… you’ll realise this later.”

The Pratt, however, doesn’t seem to think this will be an issue with his newly-wedded wife, and had a little message to send to Mr. Cruise: “You all know how I feel about big weddings, but if Tom Cruise says so, it must be true.”

“If Tom’s the best man, we’ll have a big wedding!” Spencer added.

Somehow I don’t think Cruise will rise to the bait, you Big Pratt!

Lohan Wedding Rumours “A Lie,” Says Rep

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson aren’t getting married, according to Lohan’s rep.

Wedding rumours have surrounded the couple for some time now, though Lohan herself has been quick to deny them. However, DJ Samantha Ronson came clean earlier in the week, announcing during one of her gigs that, “By the end of this year [Lindsay] will be Mrs. Ronson.”

Lindsay’s rep says this is simply not true.

“They lie,” the Mean Girls rep said to Access Hollywood of the Daily Mail’s latest marriage article.

If it’s all a lie, then that would mean Lindsay’s father, Michael, was right all along: Samantha Ronson is a parasite who’s just using Lohan for her publicity. Huh, who’da thunk it??

They might be grainy, stalker-esque snaps, but they’re about as good as its gonna get – for the moment, at least.

The first celebrity gay wedding since the California laws changed between talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia De Rossi went off without a hitch!

Portia looked gorgeous, as usual, in her Zac Posen gown, and Ellen looked radiant in a white suit that seemed vaguely familiar (perhaps because she always seems to wear the same thing).

Not only are Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi marrying this weekend, but they’re saying “I do” at their $29 million home.

The couple have already begun preparations to transform their Beverly Hills estate into a wedding wonderland, with E! News confirming that Revelry Event Designers – the same company that was responsible for the recent Simpson/Wentz nuptials – is in charge of the decorating for this weekend.

And it’s most definitely on!

A truck from famed L.A. florist, Mark’s Garden, was seen making a delivery to the couple’s home yesterday morning.

The pair are planning to marry this Saturday evening in front of a few close family and friends.

Peaches Geldof Weds in Drive-Thru Vegas Chapel

British bad girl Peaches Geldof has married a U.S. musician in perhaps the most famous drive-thru wedding chapel in the world, the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

The 19-year-old daughter of music legend Sir Bob Geldof wed Max Drummey, of Massachusetts band Chester French, last week, after a whirlwind romance that spanned less than a month.

According to family members, their wedding was a spur-of-the-moment thing, with Geldof and Drummey notifying their respective families of their impending nuptials “at the last minute.”

Reverend Stephen Fabretti of the Little White Wedding Chapel told the Daily Mail that the young couple were “kissing and hugging” during the “standard [drive-thru] service.”

But sources claim that the marriage is nothing but a sham to drum up publicity for Chester French’s debut album, due out in stores across America next month. The statement released after the wedding suggests that this could be the case.

“Max’s band, Chester French, played at the ITV iTunes festival [in London in June], where Peaches was a co-presenter of the show,” the statement read.

“The acclaimed new Boston band were signed by Pharrell Williams to his label Star Track, a subsidiary of the giant Interscope Label. Their marriage has the full support of their family and friends.”

Yeah… that’s the lamest statement I think I’ve ever heard… scam, scam, scam…

Aniston “Not Getting Married,” Says Rep

Despite reports of the contrary, Jennifer Aniston is not getting married, says her rep.

OK! magazine – renowned for its false news stories – was first to claim that the 39-year-old actress was planning a “low-key” wedding to partner John Mayer in the fall; but the Break-Up star’s rep has slammed the story, calling the headline a complete “fabrication.”

“[Jennifer] is not getting married,” her rep told Usmagazine.com.

Added Aniston’s rep: “[The headline is a] complete fabrication.”

She’d do well to stay away from matrimony when it comes to Mayer, anyway. The guy’s nothing but a no-good love-rat, just like her last husband. The coupling (if it ever did take place) would simply be doomed from the very beginning.
