Social Disorder Treatment

Social Disorder Treatment, as the title suggests, treats Social Disorders. Social Disorders and Social Anxiety are names used to describe an experience of anxiety (emotional discomfort, fear, apprehension or worry) when in social situations. It is a fear of being evaluated by other people.
People vary in how often they experience social anxiety or in which kinds of situations. It can be related to shyness or other emotional or temperamental factors, but its exact nature is still the subject of research and theory. Extreme social anxiety can be extremely disabling and may be diagnosed as social anxiety disorder (a social phobia).
Because of this fear, the person with Social Anxiety Disorder experiences physical symptoms of anxiety, and as a result tends to avoid the social interaction or social situation that brings on the symptoms of anxiety.
There are essentially two major subtypes of Social Anxiety Disorder, generalised and specific. Generalised Social Anxiety Disorder is when the person fears a wide range of different social situations. Specific Social Anxiety Disorder is when the person fears only one specific social situation, such as public speaking, or only a couple of specific social situations.
Look at this list and see if it relates to you:
- Are you feeling anxious, stressed out, tired, depressed, or just plain overwhelmed?
- Do you find yourself staying home instead of going out, just to avoid anxiety-provoking situations?
- Have your phobias, panic, anxiety or post-traumatic stress symptoms defied all types of treatment, including psychotherapy, drugs, and behavior modification?
- Do you find yourself losing sleep due to intense anticipatory anxiety nearly each and every night?
- Have you researched fear and anxiety in depth, searching desperately for an answer — reading books, listening to tapes — and yet you still find yourself in the same place you started?
- Do you find yourself asking the constant “What if?” questions, seemingly day after day — unable to stop these thoughts no matter how hard you try?
- Has your anxiety, fear or panic become so bad, it’s interfering with your work, your family, and relationships?
- Do your phobias seem to just come and go, without any apparent rhyme or reason?
- Does the fear of losing control, going insane, passing out, or even dying pervade your thoughts day and night?
- Do you sometimes feel like giving up? Have you gotten to the point where you see no hope, no matter where you turn for help?
Hopefully you are lucky and do not suffer from any of the above, but with prevalance in the community being very high, there is a good chance you do suffer from some or many of these symptoms.
There is hope however and you can be cured very quickly and this is not another one of those wild Internet claims, this is a genuine treatment from Robert Mantell, Ph.D., C.M.Ht., Founder and Executive Director of BrightLife Phobia & Anxiety Release Center and member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.

Traditional Treatment General Anxiety Disorder initially begins with the prescription of buspirone or another anti depressant. Long term general anxiety disorder sufferers are often given cognitive therapy.
As many as 2% of the population will experience the effects of General Anxiety Disorder at some stage during their life. It is characterised by widespread anxiety, rather than targeted at a specific phobia.
Symptoms include increased anxiety, fearfulness and worry, nearly every day. These symptoms can last for years, becoming more and more debilitating.
Other, secondary conditions often occur, brought on by their fear of the anxiety. Associated conditions can include excessive tiredness, with concentration lapses commonplace. Insomnia is often common, as the condition keeps the mind racing making it difficult to relax.
Because of this fear, the person with Social Anxiety Disorder experiences physical symptoms of anxiety, and as a result tends to avoid the social interaction or social situation that brings on the symptoms of anxiety.
If untreated, the condition can progress, resulting in far more damage to day to day life and enjoyment. If you can relate to the condition above, or any of the list below, you need to seek treatment.

Patrick Swayze – Winning Cancer Battle

Patrick Swayze is making a miraculous recovery from pancreatic cancer.
Things weren’t looking so bright for Patrick when his diagnosis was first publicized (left photo) in March, but as you can see in the latest photo of Patrick, at LA airport yesterday, he is definitely looking a lot healthier and happier.
Responding to questions about his health, Patrick said:
“I’m a miracle dude, I don’t know why.”
“My treatments are working and I am winning the battle.”
“I am juicing every day along with other treatments and all I can say is that it’s working fine and really well.”
One of the most serious cancers, with a survival rate of 5 per cent, Patrick’s survival was far less, as the cancer had spread throughout his body to other vital organs, with it claimed at the the time that he had less then 5 weeks to live.
Since then, he has been having traditional chemotherapy, in conjunction with the new Cyberknife radiotherapy.
Hopefully he can keep making great strides against the disease.
Here is the latest pic of Patrick, where he looks even better. Good to see.

Madonna’s ‘Leave Britney Alone’ campaign has hit another milestone this week, with the pop star likening the media’s treatment of the Toxic singer to and African witch-hunt!
After repeated calls by Mads (and daughter Lourdes) to leave the struggling mother-of-two alone, the ‘happily married’ wife of Guy Ritchie tells Vanity Fair that she’s not sure who’s worse off in the world: persecuted Africans, or Britney Spears.
