Channing Tatum Was a Stripper

Channing Tatum, the new star of  blockbuster action film G.I. Joe, was once a stripper, according to footage obtained by Usmagazine.com today.

The 29-year-old actor, who recently tied the knot with Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan, was part of a Chippendales-style revue called Male Encounter in 1999, and performed under the alias “Chan Crawford.”

The troupe’s former owner, London Steele, said an 18-year-old Tatum approached her about a job in early 1999, and ended up working as a lip-syncing stripper in her now-defunct Florida nightclub for about a year.

“He was shy at first,” Steele said, “but he really knew how to work the stage.”

“The women went crazy for him!” she added.

While none of the members of Tatum’s troupe ever stripped right down to the nude – the revue had a strict no-nudity policy – Tatum’s hot dance moves caught the eye of a female casting agent in the audience, and scored himself subsequent roles in Ricky Martin’s She Bangs music video, and the 2006 dance flick hit, Step Up.

Lindsay Lohan Turned Down Role in The Hangover

Struggling actress Lindsay Lohan could have been in one of the hottest movies of the year, yet she turned down the role and is, instead, still a struggling actress (one who may even have resorted to stealing formulas and the like).

Lohan, 23, was offered the role of stripper Jade in the 2009 hit The Hangover, but reportedly declined the role because she said the screenplay “had no potential”.

According to a source, the film’s director Todd Phillips approached Lohan to star in the movie after their “mutual agent” campaigned on the Mean Girls starlet’s behalf.

The source said: “The agent tried hard to get Phillips to consider her, and when he finally agreed, Lindsay said she didn’t like the script!”

The role of Jade the stripper eventually went to Heather Graham. Since its release, The Hangover has grossed a whopping $205 million in ticket sales, making it one of the highest earners of the (U.S.) summer.

Megan Fox Admits to Lesbian Fling

Transformers star Megan Fox has admitted that she was once in love with a female stripper.

The 22-year-old made the shock revelation in the October issue of GQ magazine, adding that although she had a relationship with a woman – back when she was just 18 – it didn’t make her a lesbian.

“Well, that year my boyfriend broke up with me, and I decided – oh man, sorry, mommy! – that I was in love with this girl that worked at the Body Shop,” Fox explained. “I decided that I was going to get her to love me back, and I went out of my way to create a relationship with this girl, a stripper named Nikita.”

Britney to Play Killer Lesbian Stripper in New Tarantino Film

This is just what Britney Spears needs to help her on her way to recovery: to play a killer lesbian stripper in a new Quentin Tarantino film.

The pop tart was apparently hand-picked by famed director Tarantino to play the part of Varla, a dancer who has a penchant for women and killing, in a remake of the 1965 cult film, Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

Catchy title, right? And that’s pretty much how the movie goes down, too. The film revolves around a trio of “thrill-seeking” strippers who encounter a young couple in the desert and decide it might be fun to kill them.

Spears’ character, Varla, murders the boyfriend “with her bare hands,” and then takes the surviving girlfriend hostage, where lots of steamy lesbian sex then takes place. The film, like its title, of course, ends in a “blood-bath.”

A source revealed: “Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She’s delighted. She thinks it could turn her career around.

“It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She’s playing the most important character.”

The source added that Tarantino is currently in discussions with a number of Hollywood beauties to take the roles of the remaining two strippers.
