Lindsay Lohan Robbed

Lindsay Lohan’s Hollywood Hills home has been broken in to, her mother Dina Lohan told People.com.

Dina told the magazine earlier today that the rumours her famous daughter had been robbed were true, and that Lindsay had several high-ticket items stolen from her home.

“The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed,” Dina said. “Bags, shoes, and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn’t home.”

Lindsay came home to find her place in disarray, and while extremely upset over the robbery, her mother insists the Mean Girls star is “okay.”

Dina added that Lindsay had been planning to move from the area before the robbery occurred, as she believed it was an unsafe place to live.

“Ali and Linds just left me in New York,” Dina explained, “and left people in charge to pack, as we are moving [Lindsay] to a safer place.”

While the LAPD refused to confirm that the house in question was that of Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan, they did admit that a break in had occurred in the area, and that the incident was still under investigation.

“All we can confirm is that we are investigating a possible break in at the residence and we still have officers on the scene,” an LAPD spokesperson said. “We got a call shortly before 7 a.m. this morning and it’s still under investigation. No arrests have been made.”

The same home was under investigation in May of this year, when survelliance footage showed an alleged intruder attempting to break in to Lohan’s pad.

Stephenie Meyer Accused of Stealing ‘Twilight’

Stephenie Meyer, the author behind the hit novel and movie series, Twilight, is close to having a lawsuit slapped against her, with a rival author claiming that Meyer “stole” the idea of a paranormal human-vampire romance from her.

Author Jordan Scott has sent a cease and desist letter to the publisher of Breaking Dawn – the fourth novel in the series – with the letter stating that the content was stolen from her 2006 book, The Nocturne.

Scott claims that BD contains a “striking and substantial similarity” to her book, with some of the near-identical scenes including:

- A post-wedding sex scene

- A woman who is sick because she’s carrying a baby with “evil powers”

- The wife of the main character dying

As well as all that, Scott also claims that the dialogue in all of these similar scenes is also almost exactly the same to what she’d written two years earlier to the release of BD.

Meyer’s rep, however, has slammed the claims made by this small-time author, calling them “without merit.”

“The claim that Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer somehow infringes on an alleged book by someone named Jordan Scott is completely without merit,” Meyer’s rep states.

“Neither Stephenie Meyer nor her representatives had any knowledge of this writer or her supposed book prior to this claim.”

Ryan Tedder Responds to Clarkson/Beyonce Controversy

Kelly Clarkson’s earlier accusation that music producer Ryan Tedder supplied her with a “ripped off” melody of Beyonce Knowles’ Halo to record with has prompted Tedder to respond to the claims today – and he’s not happy.

Tedder said in a statement that the idea he’d given Clarkson stolen material was “hurtful and absurd,” but applauded the Idol winner on her “haunting and heart-breaking performance” on a track he believes sounds nothing like Beyonce’s Halo.

Tedder’s statement (including all spelling and punctuation errors as he’d written it) reads:

‘”Already Gone’ is one of the best songs I’ve written or produced since ‘Bleeding Love’ and stands tall on it’s own merits apart from ‘Halo.’ They are two entirely different songs conceptually, melodically, & lyrically and I would never try to dupe an artist such as Kelly Clarkson or Beyonce into recording over the same musical track, the idea is both hurtful & absurd. I think when people hear ‘Already Gone’ they will hear what I hear — one of the greatest female vocalists on earth giving her most haunting and heart-breaking performance on a song she helped write. I challenge people to listen and form their own opinions.”

Pete Doherty Robbed

Drugged out rocker Pete Doherty’s house was burgled while he was touring with the Babyshambles over the weekend.

Some of the items stolen include a $2,000 guitar and three paintings Doherty made with his own blood.

Sounds like either one of his drug dealers, or mates searching for a fix and figuring they could get enough of a hit just by licking the paintings.

Lindsay Offered Free Blonde Mink

A New York club owner who’s pro-Lohan has offered to settle the unfortunate mess made by the ’stolen mink coat’ debacle, and is even willing to throw a free mink into the deal!

John Englebert, owner of NYC hotspots Prime and Suzie Wong, is disgusted at the “spoilt brat” behaviour of Masha Markova (the ’stolen’ mink’s rich owner) and wants to help Lindsay out by settling the lawsuit Markova has slapped on the Mean Girls star.

As well as fixing up the suit, Englebert is prepared to give Lohan a brand new $11,000 blonde mink coat – just like the one she allegedly took by mistake – for free!

How could LiLo say no to that?

Lindsay Leggings Lohan

Funny how these celebs make a big song and dance out of being hounded by the paparazzi, but still go out of their way to use them to promote themselves or their affiliations.

Lindsay Lohan did just that to promote her new line of leggings. Yes, that is correct, Lindsay is bringing out her own lie of leggings.

Each pair of leggings comes pre-stained and scented.

The leggings should take some heat of Lindsay and her apparent problem with acquiring items of clothing that do not belong to her.

Another person has come out and accused Lindsay of taking some of her clothes.

Lauren Hastings says Lindsay took thousands of dollars worth of items from her closet.

“Basically, I have two closets, a lot of the stuff was missing out of one and the next closet was almost completely empty. Five witnesses all said they saw Lindsay Lohan basically in my closet, handing a bag of clothes to her bodyguard.”

“I contacted Lindsay and said, ‘Look, I know you stole my clothes.’ She then said I was completely delusional, I was pathetic.”

The usual denials were put forward by Lohan’s people.

No charges were pressed against Lohan due to insufficient evidence. Police reportedly searched for the missing items, but found none.
