We all knew it, and now Fox’s Transformers director Michael Bay has come forward and admitted that yes, Megan Fox is a tad ridiculous.

This statement comes after Fox, 23, slammed her own movie – yes, you heard it right – and the direction of blockbuster movie maker Michael Bay.

Fox recently told Entertainment Weekly: “I mean, I can’t s— on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don’t want to blow smoke up people’s a–. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting.”

Bay’s response? He “100 percent disagrees” with Fox.

“Well, that’s Megan Fox for you,” the director told Wall Street Journal. “She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do.

“You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, ‘Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.’”

The director then went on to name-drop just a little bit, a sort of Hollywood A-List justification that no, his movies don’t suck after all, and yes, they’re all about the acting. Kinda.

“Nick Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did Transformers - and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawerence, from Bad Boys,” Bay said.

He added: “Nodoby in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers.

“I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films.”

In others words, Bay is telling Fox to be a little more grateful, because he’s the reason she’s famous.

If I was Bay, I’d just cast some Megan Fox look-a-like in the third Transformers film and be done with it. And then say tough titties, Megan.

Looks like Scarlett Johansson will have to revert to her day job!

The actress-turned-singer’s debut album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, has been slammed by the critics, who’ve labelled the star’s recordings as “fussy and forgettable.”

Johansson’s 40-minute-long CD is a collection of Tom Waits covers, and was released in stores this week. The first single released from the album, Falling Down, seems to have predicted what was to come for the Boleyn Girl actress, with her career in the music industry looking unsteady after so many lukewarm reviews.
