Delta Goodrem Twitter-Stalked by ‘Messiah’
Australian singer Delta Goodrem has been forced to consult security experts after her fiance Brian McFadden was repeatedly threatened by an online stalker who calls himself ‘The Messiah’ over popular networking site, Twitter.
The man, believed to be Australian, goes under the Twitter alias Saviour Mankind, and has professed his “love and ownership” of Goodrem through countless messages on the site, some of which have been responded to by McFadden.
There are some who have suggested that by responding to the threatening remarks, McFadden has “egged on” the stalker rather than placating him, with Saviour Mankind’s Twitter posts quickly turning to darker topics like murder and rape.
On another website, Saviour Mankind has described himself as a “schizophrenic” who hears voices and is a “messiah” figure.
Jennifer Fontaine, a spokeswoman for Goodrem and McFadden, told News Limited: “We’re very much aware of this matter but we’ve been advised to not make any comment at this time. We have security looking at it.”
The longtime couple has threatened to obtain a restraining order against Saviour Mankind, after McFadden received the following letter from the stalker:
“Brian you are Jewish leave Delta immediately, if you do not leave and as I am spoken for by the faith of love, we will return to the days of Spanish inquisitions, how did it end for them? You are lucky we don’t have the death penalty in Australia.”

Debbie Rowe Wants Custody of Jackson’s Children

Michael Jackson’s former wife Debbie Rowe has reportedly decided to fight for custody of her two children, Prince Michael Jr. and Paris, whom she carried for the popstar in exchange for a large sum of money.
“I want my children,” Ms Rowe said. “I am stepping up… I have to.”
The reason Rowe has chosen to take the battle to court has to do with Jackson’s appointed guardians for the children – his mother Katherine Jackson, soon to be 80, and close friend Diana Ross, who the children have never met. Rowe is also concerned at the level of Joe Jackson’s involvement in the children’s lives, after the King of Pop accused his father of abuse years ago.
However, there’s a lot of obstacles for the nurse and onetime wife of the pop superstar to overcome, not the least of which is the rumours that she’s not the biological mother of the two eldest Jackson children. Rowe has said that she is willing to submit to any testing, including DNA, to prove that she is their biological mother.
Another of the many obstacles includes Rowe’s 2001 petition to give up her parental rights over the children, in exchange for a house and millions of dollars in cash. Rowe later “reversed her decision” and secured herself visitation rights, but legal experts say this could severly hinder any chance she may or may not have to win custody.
“If she has a strong relationship with her children and… she has seen them somewhat regularly then she has a very strong chance of getting custody,” said Scott Altman, a law professor at the University of Southern California.
“But if… she hardly has visited with her children, they have no relationship at all, they don’t think of her as a mother it will be very difficult for her to get custody.”
Rowe’s lawyers will attend a court hearing on Monday to dispute issues surrounding the Jackson children and his deceased estate, a restraining order against Joe Jackson believed to be among the issues.
Of course, if Rowe does win the suit and gains custody of her children, she will also gain at least partial control of the late popstar’s estate, part of which has been left for his children. The money she would receive for their care is no doubt yet another reason – if not the main reason – Rowe is pushing for custody after all.

Jen Garner Fears For Her Safety

Jennifer Garner has petitioned the courts for a permanent restraining order again stalker Steven Burky, following numerous threats against the actress and her family.
In the documents obtained by TMZ.com, Garner is asking Burky stay clear of her, and wants “no contact whatsoever.”
The Catch and Release actress, who’s been stalked by Burky since 2002, said that in the last year “his obsessive and harassing behaviour has escalated to the point of becoming dangerous and threatening.”
“Mr Burky has been stalking and harassing me,” Garner’s declaration reads. “[He's been sending] packages and letters containing delusional and paranoid thoughts and following me around the country…”
At one point, Garner said Burky had shown up at her home and announced, “God has sent [him] a vision of [Jennifer] being persecuted in some manner that may result in [Jennifer's] death.”
It is threats like these, Garner said, that make her fear for herself, husband Ben Affleck, and daughter Violet. “I am currently pregnant and fear for the safety of my second child once born,” Garner added.
A temporary restraining order was issued earlier this month, and a hearing tomorrow will determine whether or not the order will be a permanent one.
