Jolie Hints at Acting Break

Angelina Jolie, one half of the super couple Brangelina, has revealed that she may well give acting the flick for the sake of her adopted – and biological – children.

The 33-year-old said that her family is now the most important thing in her life, and would have no issue in giving up her career to better their lives.

“The kids are my priority, so it’s possible that from now on I will make fewer movies. I may even stop altogether,” Jolie told Italy’s Vanity Fair magazine.

“I no longer have the ambition I had in my 20s.”

Don’t get your hopes up too much though, folks. The Mr & Mrs Smith star only said it was “possible” that she’d quit, which, in other words, means there’s about a 0.001% chance of that actually happening.

A girl can dream, though, right?

Harry Potter star Emma Watson will give acting the flick in favour of furthering her education after the final film in the boy wizard franchise, The Deathly Hallows, has been completed.

The actress, who was reluctant to sign on for the last two films in the series, says that she plans to attend university next year, fulfilling her “need to study.”

“I would like to go to university and complete a degree so that will mean a break from acting,” Ms. Watson told the Daily Telegraph, UK.

“I’ve always tried to balance my education with my acting career, but I just don’t think it will be possible to juggle it with a degree course.

Aussie Billionaire James Packer Quits Scientology

James Packer - Tom Cruise

One-time Australia’s richest man, James Packer is said to be over Scientology and ready to quit.

Packer, Scientology’s wealthiest member, was introduced to the cult by good bud, Tom back in 2002.

Packer’s friends have revealed that he’s quietly distanced himself from Scientology, was no longer undertaking Scientology courses and has told them he no longer “needs it”.

Packer got sucked into the cult when was overweight and depressed, his marriage to his first wife, Jodhi Meares, had ended and he was left looking like a goose after losing $350 million of daddies money in a bad business investment.

The one time Packer spoke about his involvement with the cult, he said:

“I think it has been very good for me,” he said. “It has been helpful. I have some friends in Scientology that have been very supportive. But I think it’s just helped me have a better outlook on life.”

Packer’s expanding casino empire looks like the reason for his departure, with Scientology frowning on gambling.

Scientology will be losing a lot of money on this one, as each member has to donate a lot of their income to the group.
