‘Heroes’ Star Ali Larter Gets Married

Heroes star Ali Larter has wed her actor beau, Hayes MacArthur, in a private ceremony on the MacArthur estate in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Larter walked down the aisle with her dad after Irish music was played, in a nod to MacArthur’s heritage. The ceremony was held outside among the gardens of MacArthur’s parents’ estate, with the guests arriving on trolleys.

Larter’s close friend, actress Amy Smart, was among the celebrity guests in attendance.

The pair became engaged in December 2007 after five years together, and are expected to start a family together soon.

No Public Viewing, Says Jackson Family

There will be no private viewing of Michael Jackson at Neverland Ranch, despite news reports that suggest otherwise.

The Jackson family has just released a statement, through their newly acquired reps, which states there will be no such service performed his former residence.

“Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.

“Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly.”

A Private Funeral for Fawcett

It has been announced that a private funeral for actress Farrah Fawcett will be held on Tuesday.

The private service will be held at 4 p.m. (local time) at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles, chuch officials have confirmed.

The actress, best known for her role in cult 70’s series Charlie’s Angels, passed away on Thursday after a long and painful battle with cancer at the age of 62.

Fawcett’s longtime partner Ryan O’Neal was at the actress’ bedside when she finally succumbed to the disease.

Michael Lohan “Regrets” Slamming Sam

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father Michael Lohan has admitted that he’s learned his lesson, and regrets calling Samantha Ronson “a drug” earlier this year.

“I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha,” Michael said last week.

“I’m a Christian,” he added. “I should not pass judgement on anyone.”

Michael started a verbal feud between himself, his daughter and her lesbian partner, Ronson, back in September, when he called the DJ a “parasite” and a “disgusting representation of humanity.” He further attacked Ronson, claiming that she was only using Lindsay for her fame. Both Lindsay and Sam fought back, writing scathing remarks on their respective MySpace pages that labelled Mr. Lohan a “coward.”

Mr. Lohan also admitted that he’d been using the media as a way to “reach out” to his daughter, but now knew that public announcements weren’t the best way to win back Lindsay’s love and respect.

“In the past, I felt that the best way to get to her was to speak out publicly,” he said. “And it was the wrong choice.”

Michael added that he and his daughter were now on the path to reconciliation, and from now on, he would be keeping his opinions on her life private.

“Family matters should be kept private,” Lohan said. “I’ve learned that now.”

Lohan: “I’ll Never Talk About Ronson”

Lindsay Lohan has vowed to never talk about the nature of her relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson, saying that it is a “private matter”.

The 22-year-old actress said recently: “I love the Ronsons. They’re close to my heart and I respect all the work they do. Samantha and my relationship is a private matter.”

Likewise, Ronson has insisted she’lls never speak about Lindsay, calling the Mean Girls star her “friend” in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

The DJ told the mag: “I stay away from the tabloids. I’m not going to talk about Lindsay because she’s my friend, you know? She’s great. She’s also 22 years old. I think people forget that. With the Internet the way it is, one second we’re enemies, one second we’re best friends, one second we’re lovers, and then we’re broken up.”

Since Lindsay’s bout of rebellion ended, she and Ronson have been inseparable, and have often been spotted holding hands, cuddling, and even kissing. Sources say the “couple” are even planning on making their relationship a more permanent one, by marrying in California later this year.

Ashlee Simpson Wedding Update

Last week, we reported that the Ashlee Simpson/Pete Wentz wedding was less than a month away, and today ET has revealed the date: May 17th.

The newly engaged couple will tie the knot at a private, undisclosed home in Los Angeles, a source said. About 120 guests have been invited to attend the shotgun nuptials, which will be kept private and hidden from the waiting media by large, fashionable tents – ala Beyonce Knowles.

News of Ashlee and Fallout Boy rocker Wentz’ engagement first broke to the media in early April.
