Dr. Murray Admits Injecting Jackson With Propofol

While Dr. Conrad Murray’s lawyer insists his client had nothing to do with the Propofol that is believed to have killed Michael Jackson, law enforcement officials have revealed that they have a very good reason to suspect the physician’s involvment in the pop star’s June 25 death.
Their reasoning? Dr. Murray told the police he did.
According to unnamed sources within the LAPD, two days after Jackson’s death, Murray told detectives he was the one who had administered the Propofol to the King of Pop just hours before he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.
Dr. Murray alleges that he “found” Jackson without a pulse in his bedroom on the morning of June 25 a few hours after administering the powerful anesthesia drug to the singer through an IV drip; however, the LAPD have a different theory.
The police believe that Dr. Murray “wasn’t paying attention” when Jackson’s heart stopped beating, and have even hypothesised that the doctor may have “fallen asleep” during the time the drug was administered, and woke to find the singer already dead from heart failure.
Other doctors in the medical community have said that the use of Propofol – or even drugs of a similar capacity – in the home is “reckless.” For the drug to be used safely, they said, the patient must be monitored by an EKG, which would then sound an alarm when the patient’s pulse drops to dangerous levels.
There was no EKG found in the raid on Michael Jackson’s house.

Mischa Barton Under Psychiatric Hold

Mischa Barton has been placed under psychiatric hold by the LAPD after an incident in her Los Angeles home on Wednesday, an LAPD spokesperson has confirmed.
“We responded to her home last night on a medical issue,” April Harding, of the Los Angeles Police Department, told Usmagazine.com. “We assisted with it. She was removed from her home.”
Harding explained that Barton called 911 sometime on Wednesday, seemingly “in distress. When asked by the press if the 23-year-old had been cooperative, Harding replied, “I guess.”
Due to California privacy laws, the officer would not reveal the location of Barton’s hospitalisation; however, it is believed that the former O.C. actress was placed under involuntary psychiatric hold – better known at 5150 – and then transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (the same place Britney Spears was held involunatarily twice in early 2008).
A source close to Barton says the actress had a “freak out” before calling for police assistance.
The actress was supposed to be attending the New York premiere of her new movie, Homecoming, tonight, but has since pulled out of the event.

La Toya Jackson: “Michael Was Murdered”
July 12, 2009 by Amber

La Toya Jackson has revealed that she believes her younger brother, Michael, was murdered, and has vowed to bring those responsible for the singer’s shock death to justice.
While Los Angeles police have only just confirmed that homicide is still very much a possibility in Jackson’s suspected cardiac arrest on June 25, La Toya has told U.K.’s Mail On Sunday that she knew from the get-go her brother had been killed by members of his “shadowy entourage.”
“I believe Michael was murdered,” La Toya explained. “I felt that from the start. Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people. He was surrounded by a bad circle. Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who weren’t always on his side.”
La Toya also believes that this “bad circle” her brother was surrounded by was the reason he was hooked on prescription drugs, and blamed members of his entourage for supplying the Thriller singer with dangerous medications.
“They got him hooked on drugs,” she said. “He was pure and clean and then drugs came back into his system. I think it shocked his system so much it killed him.”
The results of Jackson’s toxicology tests are still weeks away, and even though police have refused to reveal what they believe to be the popstar’s cause of death, La Toya is certain the results will mirror what she has believed from the very beginning.
La Toya said: “[Michael] had needle marks on his neck and on his arms and more about those will emerge in the next few weeks. I cannot discuss that any further as I may jeopardise the investigation. I can, however, say that I have not changed my mind about my feeling that [my brother] was murdered.”
“It will all come out,” she added. “You will be shocked.”
As well as breaking her silence on what she believes to be a conspiracy surrounding her brother’s murder, La Toya Jackson has spoken out against the cruelty of forcing Michael into doing a mammoth 50 concerts in London, saying it was “impossible” and labeling the 50-year-old as the “loneliest man in the world.”
“[It was] impossible even for a healthy person to do that many shows,” she said. “Michael was fragile. He always wanted to believe the best of people. But he was meek. In the last few months, he became isolated. I believe the staff were given strict instructions that if any of the family called, not to tell him. And if any of the family came by, not to let them in.”
At the time of Michael’s death, it was rumoured that the King of Pop had turned to heavy narcotics in order to make himself sick so that he would not be forced to play the concerts he’d never wanted to do, yet still reep the financial rewards of those concerts due to a clause in the contract. La Toya’s claims that Jackson’s people were forcing him into the London tour have certainly now put weight behind those rumours.
Whatever the outcome of Michael’s autopsy, La Toya has vowed that she will get to the bottom of it all, and plans to file a civil lawsuit against anyone involved in his death – which may include Jackson’s doctor at the time, Dr. Conrad Murray – as well as pushing the investigating officers to serve criminal charges.
“I am going to get down to the bottom of this,” the 53-year-old promised. “I am not going to stop until I find out who is responsible. Why did they keep the family away? It’s not about money. I want justice for Michael. I won’t rest until I find out what – and who – killed my brother.
“I’m doing what I can to find out how he died. If he died of a drug overdose, then I want to find who supplied him the drugs and who first introduced him to them.”
La Toya added: “Michael didn’t have to die. We are all mourning his loss, more than anyone can ever know. But we are also determined to get to the bottom of what happened to him.”

Jackson Doctor Not a Suspect
June 28, 2009 by Amber

A spokeswoman for Dr. Conrad Murray, the cardiologist who was with Michael Jackson when he collapsed and went into cardiac arrest, has said that he is “in no way a suspect” in the singer’s death.
Murray spent three hours with detectives yesterday meticulously going through the events which led up to the King of Pop’s shock collapse and subsequent death.
The doctor “helped identify the circumstances around the death of the pop icon and clarified some inconsistencies,” his spokeswoman Miranda Sevcik said in a statement. “Investigators say the doctor is in no way a suspect and remains a witness to this tragedy.”
Los Angeles police have confirmed that they interviewed Murray, but would not comment further on his status as a “person of interest,” only adding that the cardiologist was cooperative and “provided information which will aid the investigation.”
The coroner who performed the original autopsy (before the Jacksons sent their son’s body to a private medico for further anaylsis) has stated that there was no evidence of foul play, and that while it could take a month or more to receive the official results, has labeled Jackson’s death as nothing more than a tragedy.

Accident “Not Shia’s Fault,” Say Police
July 30, 2008 by Amber
Even though he was driving under the influence of alcohol – and breaking the law – last Sunday’s early morning crash was not the fault of actor Shia LaBeouf, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Sheriff, said that the Transformers star would still be charged with a misdemeanor DUI, but was not at fault when the accident occurred. Except for his blood-alcohol level, of course.
Whitmore explained: “The other car ran a red light and, if not already, they will be cited.
“The will now be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault.”
So it was mere coincidence, then, that poor ‘ol Shia got snagged by the cops for drink driving. Damn! If only that person hadn’t run a red light, he’d still be sitting pretty, driving around someone else’s girlfriend with an open stubby of beer between his knees.

Christian Bale Accused Of Bashing Mother And Sister
July 23, 2008 by staralicious

In between promoting his new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, Christian Bale is accused of taking time out to belt the crap out of his mother and sister.
Bale’s 61 year old mother, Jenny and 40 year old sister, Sharon claim that Bale lashed out at them at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Sunday night. The pair then filed a Police complaint on Monday.
Here comes the kicker though, the Police chose not to confront Bale with the allegations on Monday, as he was promoting the movie in London and it would have been wrong to have wrecked the premiere.
I can’t see how speaking with him over the allegations would have wrecked the premiere, it is not as if they would have locked him up on the spot. Just another example of how being a Hollywood movie star gives you rights that no one else in the community enjoys.
Maybe it’s the rubber suit.
