Hugh Jackman And Nicole Kidman – Australia

HUgh Jackman and Nicole Kidman had a busy day today, ahead of tonight’s World premiere of their new Baz Luhrmann movie, Australia.

The stars are in Sydney, to attend the premiere with an audience of 3,000. Simultaneous screenings will be held in Darwin, Queensland’s Bowen and Western Australia’s Kununurra.

Luhrman is under pressure to deliver, after rumors of last minute changes to the movie’s ending to make it more palatable for audiences. I guess tonight will tell all.

Billy Ray Comes Clean On Miley Photos

Billy Ray Cyrus has set the record straight on the issue of Miley’s controversial photo shoot, confirming that he wasn’t there when the photos were taken.

“I wasn’t there when they took the controversial photograph,” Billy Ray told Access Hollywood. “I took my picture with Miley and then had to go catch a flight, so I wasn’t there.”

“Annie had asked if I could be there for one picture, so I rerouted my deal and came into LA, jumped in, took my pictures, said ‘Hello’ to my family and then I was off to go play for the troops.”

A rep for vanity Fair says that Miley’s parents didn’t have photo approval, but were shown the photos right after they were taken and were pleased with them.

“Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley,” Vanity Fair said in a statement to Access. “In fact, when Bruce Handy (who wrote the article the photos appear with) interviewed Miley, he asked her about the photo and she was very cheerful about it and thought it was perfectly fine.”

Billy Ray for his part says he thought the photo was ‘pretty cool’, saying that with Annie Leibovitz taken them, they were bound to be very artsy, although he didn’t realise they would strip his daughter down and wrap a blanket around her.

Billy Ray discussed the controversy with his daughter, by giving a good old boy analogy of a turkey with the longest neck being the one everyone would shoot at.

Nicole Kidman to Pose Nude Pregnant

In order to silence those critics who say her tiny baby belly isn’t anywhere near big enough for a 7-month preggers woman, actress Nicole Kidman has decided to pose nude in a magazine spread, and has chosen photographer Patrick Demarchelier to snap her in all her pregnant glory.

The 40-year-old Cold Mountain star gave the exclusive photographic rights to Demarchelier, but wants to wait until she’s nearly ready to give birth before allowing the shoot, as she wants her belly to look “as big as possible.”

“Nicole wants to wait until she looks really pregnant,” a source told the New York Daily News newspaper.

I’m not quite sure how this is going to work…

Kidman is not the first celebrity to bare all in a magazine during the last stages of her pregnancy. Way back in ‘91, actress Demi Moore flashed her baby bump on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine when she was pregnant with daughter Scout LaRue.

In recent times, pop stars Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have also stripped in a series of “tasteful” magazine photoshoots whilst with child.
