The three actors who took over the duties on Heath Ledger’s final film role have given their pay to the Australian’s two-year-old daughter, Matilda Rose.
Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law was so concerned for the young child’s welfare after the loss of her famous father, who didn’t update his will in time to include his daughter, and so donated their last payment to give her something for the future.
“They didn’t take money – it goes to Heath’s daughter,” director Terry Gilliam explained.
“That’s extraordinary! And wonderful… and when you’re part of that, you think, ‘Ah, this is maybe why I went into the movies in the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people.’
“And we’ve got a movie full of wonderful people who did extraordinary things to help.”
All three stars took over where Heath left off in the fantasy epic The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, playing versions of Ledger’s character, Tim.
Ledger passed away before he could complete the film, making the latest Batman flick, The Dark Knight, his last completed movie, and possibly his greatest ever achievement.

Jennie Garth Wants Tori Spelling Back

Jennie Garth has broken her silence on the supposed “pay fued” between herself and her former 90210 co-star Tori Spelling, telling EW.com that she wants Tori back on the show.
“[The press thinks] we’re at war over salary with Tori. I didn’t know I was at war with Tori,” Garth explained. “I’m really bummed because I love Tori, and I was psyched Tori was going to be on the show.
“I think she should definitely get paid as much as [Shannen and I are] getting paid,” she added. “Her father created the show. It just seems wrong if that’s the case. I don’t know what really happened because I haven’t talked to her. I would like to talk to her.”
Spelling’s rep confirmed her client was pulling out of the CW spinoff on Monday, after reports first surfaced that the actress was only getting “10,000-$20,000″ per episode, while her co-stars, Garth and Doherty, were getting between “$35,000-$50,000″ per show.
However, Doherty insists that those figures aren’t correct. “They didn’t even get the numbers right,” she said, “so I don’t know if [Spelling's decision] is about the money either.”
Whether it was money or something else that made Spelling drop out of the 90210 re-hash, Garth is adamant she’ll do whatever she can to get her former co-star back on board.
“I’ll try to butt my head in whenever I can and tell people what I think about it,” the actress said.

Peaches Geldof ‘Forgets’ To Pay For Dress

Boomtown Brat Peaches Geldof has been accused of leaving a trendy London boutique without paying for a $1000 dress.
The 18-year-old daughter of Sir Bob was reported to security guards after allegedly walking out with a silk dress from the Victim fashion store near Carnaby Street.
Boutique designer Mei-hui Liu said she noticed that the expensive cream dress had vanished after Peaches was browsing the rails on Thursday evening. The dress was returned two hours later after Liu complained to Peaches management.
Police were not called, after Peaches said that it was a “misunderstanding.” Yep, that’s what they all say.
Miss Liu said: “She came in and said ‘Hi, I’m Peaches.’ I didn’t know who she was and I didn’t care. She asked for my business card and said she would give me a call if she ever needed a dress.
“She was looking through the rails with her back to us and then I saw her wrapping something in her scarf. She took the business card from me, walked away and jumped into her private car.”
A spokesman for Insanity Talent Management said: “The claim is totally incorrect. Peaches has a receipt for the supposed stolen dress.
Yeah, I bet the receipt is for when she paid for it after being called.
“It was an honest mistake at the time and Peaches went back to the store having been told the dress was missing.”
“She said the dress had got caught up in her scarf and because it was the same colour she didn’t realise she had it in her arms.”
Read, after having been caught. So she accidentally wrapped the dress in her scarf, meaning to pay for it the while time? Yeah, that sounds about right.
Peaches management had this to say:
“The payment was made today because the store’s credit card machine was not working yesterday. She most definitely has not been shoplifting and nothing has been reported to the police.”
Right….
This is not the first time Peaches has been accused of making a ‘mistake’. In October 2006 Peaches was stopped at London clothes shop, Urban Outfitters on suspicion of shoplifting a coat. She was allowed to leave after paying for the item.
