The notorious O.J. Simpson was found guilty of armed robbery and kidnapping by a Las Vegas jury late Friday night.
Ironically, Simpson’s conviction comes on the 13-year anniversary of the day he was controversially acquitted for the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in Los Angeles.
This time around, Simpson was unable to escape unscathed, and was convicted – along with his co-defendant Clarence Stewart – on all 12 counts of robbery and kidnapping. Each charge carries a mandatory five years behind bars, with the potential for a full life sentence.
Simpson’s sentencing has been scheduled for December 5.

Another OJ Simpson Confession

AP reports that another of OJ Simpson’s former pals is writing a book on his relationship with Simpson.
In the book, ‘How I Helped O.J. Get Away With Murder: The Shocking Inside Story of Violence, Loyalty, Regret and Remorse’ (bloody long title for a book) Mike Gilbert alleges that after his acquittal, Simpson, high on marijuana confessed to killing his former wife.
Gilbert also claims to have shown Simpson how to bloat his hands so they wouldn’t fit into the bloody gloves.
Of killing Nicole, Simpson supposedly said.
“If she hadn’t opened that door with a knife in her hand … she’d still be alive.”
OJ’s people obviously deny any of the details and accuse Gilbert of being a broke-ass drug addict, not too far removed from OJ I’d say.
