This is just what Britney Spears needs to help her on her way to recovery: to play a killer lesbian stripper in a new Quentin Tarantino film.

The pop tart was apparently hand-picked by famed director Tarantino to play the part of Varla, a dancer who has a penchant for women and killing, in a remake of the 1965 cult film, Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

Catchy title, right? And that’s pretty much how the movie goes down, too. The film revolves around a trio of “thrill-seeking” strippers who encounter a young couple in the desert and decide it might be fun to kill them.

Spears’ character, Varla, murders the boyfriend “with her bare hands,” and then takes the surviving girlfriend hostage, where lots of steamy lesbian sex then takes place. The film, like its title, of course, ends in a “blood-bath.”

A source revealed: “Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She’s delighted. She thinks it could turn her career around.

“It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She’s playing the most important character.”

The source added that Tarantino is currently in discussions with a number of Hollywood beauties to take the roles of the remaining two strippers.

In light of this, it is good to see that someone is standing up to her whims and denying her more poor defenseless animals.

Paris was doing what Paris does, on her way to a photoshoot, to get her head in another magazine for no apparent reason, when she thought it would look real cute to have a puppy in the photo with her.

So, rather then sending a flunky back home to grab one of her other (if any are still alive) puppies, she dropped into PuppyStore on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles and tried to buy a Yorkshire Terrier.

Now, whoever they employ there has got big kahunas, as the employee refused to sell her the puppy, on the grounds that it was an impulse buy. They must have read this.

Now, who would think that someone as completely vacuous as Paris would do something on impulse?

Paris the Puppy Killer, as you’d expect, went ballistic, screaming:

“I love my puppies! I want my baby!’”

At least one puppy was saved today!

For those that don’t know, Carl Williams is a notorious gangland killer, drug trafficker and drug manufacturer from Melbourne, Victoria.

Williams is serving a 35-year prison term for the murders of four Melbourne gangland identities and spends 23 hours a day alone in his cell.

But get this, the dude is popular n Facebook, with over 2,000 friends on his profile, despite the fact that he is not allowed to access the Internet and cannot communicate with any of them directly.

It has been widely reported that Williams’ former wife Roberta runs the site for him, something she vehemently denies.

“It’s nothing to do with me,” she said.

Referring to the reports of her involvement, she added: ”They’re just talking s***”, before hanging up.

Lindsay Lohan has a new admirer and not just any normal obsessed fan, this guy has form.

Mark David Chapman, better known as the guy who killed John Lennon is reportedly so obsessed with Lohan that he has turned his cell into a shrine to her and allegedly begged her to visit him at Attica State Prison, New York.

So far, his requests to authorities to write to Lohan have been turned down.
