Jeff Goldblum’s death has been confirmed as nothing but a cruel hoax in a day that has been plauged by celebrity tragedy.
Shortly after news of Farrah Fawcett’s and Michael Jackson’s deaths hit the web, unconfirmed reports of Jurassic Park actor Jeff Goldblum’s fatal accident on a film set began to surface on popular social networking site Twitter.
Fans across the globe were sent into panic as word of Goldblum’s alleged fatal cliff fall circulated amongst the tech-friendly, but the rumour has been put to rest, with fellow actor Kevin Spacey making the announcement on his official Twitter feed.
“Jeff Goldblum is alive and well. I just spoke to his manager. Stop these stupid rumors,” Spacey wrote.

This is UNCONFIRMED, but it appears that actor Jeff Goldblum has died while filming in New Zealand.
Police in New Zealand have just broken the news that the actor, famous for his role in the Jurassic Park movies, has taken a fall on the set of his new film and passed away.

UPDATE: This is looking like a cruel hoax at this stage, folks. News of his supposed “death” is all over Twitterverse, but with no confirmed reports, I believe we can file this under “jokes that are totally NOT cool”.
