I don’t understand the hype about Robert “R-Pattz” Pattinson.

I mean, sure, I unashamedly admit that when Breaking Dawn (the last book in the Twilight series) was released, I was part of the fangirl entourage screaming, “Oh My Edward!”

But that’s Edward Cullen.

R-Pattz, on the other hand… well… I think that hair says it all, don’t you?

Nicole Kidman’s time in the sun may be just about up!

The Oscar-winning actress has been dumped by fragrance giant Chanel, in favour of a much younger (and more talented) Audrey Tatou (29), from Amelie fame.

40-year-old Kidman has been the face of Chanel since 2004, when director pal Baz Luhrmann shot her in the extravagant 3-minute, $60 million commercial for Chanel No.5, the most expensive advertisement ever made to date.

However, Chanel isn’t the only one rumoured to be giving pregnant Nics the flick.

Reports have surfaced in recent times which suggest that some of Hollywood’s biggest studios have begun to question Nicole’s $20 million per film price tag. Her latest attempts at box office smashes – The Golden Compass, The Invasion and Bewitched – have been so mediocre that the studio big-wigs have started to wonder whether the hype surrounding Kidman’s talent is just that… hype.

Gee… and it’s taken them how long to figure this out??
