Those in the celebrity world with Twitter accounts have been posting furiously since hearing about Jackson’s heart attack, sending out words of support and voicing their shock at the 50-year-olds death.

Michael Jackson Dies, Age 50

According to a number of well-known sources in the entertainment world, pop star Michael Jackson has died, age 50.

The singer was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest in Los Angeles earlier today. Unconfirmed reports told that CPR had been performed in the ambulance prior to arrival at UCLA Medical Centre.

UPDATE: TMZ has “unofficially” confirmed Jackson’s death. Officials on the scene say Jackson was without a pulse when they found him in his L.A. home, and they were unable to revive him. His parents are said to be at UCLA Medical Centre, where they are awaiting news of their son’s condition. Except a statement from a representative of the Jackson family soon.

Michael Jackson Suffers Heart Attack

Pop icon Michael Jackson has reportedly been rushed to hospital after suffering from a suspected heart attack.

An as yet unnamed member of the Jackson clan spoke to TMZ.com as the singer was rushed to the hospital, and said that Jackson was in “really bad shape.”

At this stage, there are unconfirmed reports that ambulance officers had to give the star CPR as they drove to the hospital.

Kelsey Grammer Suffers Heart Attack

Actor Kelsey Grammer suffered a mild heart attack on Saturday in Hawaii, his rep has revealed.

The star of Back To You “is resting comfortably in a Hawaiian hospital and will be released from the hospital early this week.”

Grammer, 53, first experienced symptoms of a heart attack on Saturday morning, after paddle-boarding with his wife, Camille, outside their Hawaiian home. He was then taken to the local hospital, where doctors concluded that he’d suffered a mild heart attack.

“90210″ Actor Found Dead

Stanley Kamel, a former star of the hit teen show 90210, was found dead in his L.A. home, TMZ.com is reporting.

Fire officials on the scene have told TMZ that they “responded to a 911 call from Kamel’s Hollywood Hills home yesterday just before 4:00 p.m.” At this stage, their investigation into his death is still “incomplete.”

The actor’s rep has revealed that Kamel suffered a heart attack, but the L.A. County Coroner said that they don’t have the case at the present time. He is said to have been found in his home by his long-term agents.

On 90210, Kamel played Tony Marchette, the mafia father of Rebecca Gayheart’s character, Antonia. He famously ordered a hit on Dylan (Luke Perry) that ended up killing his daughter instead.
