Britney Spears will soon be free to lead a frivilous life once more, with rumours surfacing that Daddy-O is set to release her from the binds of her conservatorship.

Sources have revealed that father Jamie Spears will soon ask the court to “review the terms” of the conservatorship after Spears worldwide Circus concert tour ends in November.

While Mr. Spears has no say on whether or not the conservatorship should be ended, he can ask for a review, which will them prompt the judge to re-evaluate his decision to place the pop singer under such strict parental and financial care.

Spears has been under the care of her father since he first took control of her estate and person in February 2008, after Britney’s multiple admissions into the psych ward at Cedars Sinai Medical Centre.

Even though she admits it’s likely she’ll fight for custody of the Jackson children – Prince Michael I and Paris Katherine Michael – Debbie Rowe has revealed that she never wanted to be a mother.

“Parenting is an art: you earn the title,” Rowe said during an interview with Us Magazine’s Ian Drew in 2003. “Because you give birth and impregnate someone does not automatically give you the title of mother or father – you earn the title.”

Rowe said that she had no intention of being a mother to the children she carried (through artificial insemination), and admits that the only reason she had them at all was because she thought her patient – superstar Michael Jackson – would be a good father.

“My kids don’t call me mum because I don’t want them to,” Rowe explained. “They are Michael’s children. It’s not that they’re not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father.”

The former nurse also hit back at claims that she abandoned her children to the King of Pop for monetary gain after she and Jackson divorced in 1999, insisting that their was no abandonment when the singer was such a good father.

“They say, ‘I can’t believe she left her children.’ Left them? I did not leave my children,” Rowe recalls. “My children are with their father where they are supposed to be.”

When she was asked why she’d never pushed for joint custody or regular visitation rights, Rowe added: “I didn’t do it to be a mother. Like I said, you earn the title. I didn’t change diapers. I didn’t get up in the middle of the night – even when I was there. Michael did it all. I am telling you that he is the most brilliant father. Almost before the baby needed something, he knew what it was. And that’s not for me.”

The custody hearing for the two eldest Jackson children is set to take place on July 13, and Rowe is expected to petition the courts for full guardianship. Until that hearing takes place, Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, will remain as temporary guardian of all three children.

Iconic performer Michael Jackson has been farewelled in a heartfelt memorial service that more than 1.5 million registered to attend.

Only a few thousand lucky fans and celebrity friends were cleared for entry for the two-and-a-half hour tribute to the King of Pop’s short and colourful life, the most notable of those being Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah, Lionel Richie and Brooke Shields, who all gave thanks to the 50-year-old contributions to music and life.

The most heartbreaking speech of all came from the singer’s 11-year-old daughter, Paris Katherine Michael, who fought back tears as she told the world that her father was “the best father you could ever imagine.”

At one point, her aunt Janet Jackson leaned into the microphone and told the young child to “speak up.” It was the first time Paris had even spoken in public.

“Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine,” the young girl said. “And I just wanted to say I love him so much.”

The memorial service began with Mariah Carey’s soulful rendition of the Jackson 5 hit I’ll Be There, which followed the entrance of Michael’s 14-carat gold-plated casket.

Pastor Lucious Smith then paid tribute to the popstar with a powerful speech, thanking him for his contributions to the world, for bringing acceptance for all other races within the musical community with his unique talents that touched the hearts of so many people.

Queen Latifah then read a poem from Maya Angelou, who’d asked the singer and actress to read it at the ceremony on her behalf. Lionel Richie’s performance of Jesus is Love followed.

Earlier, messages of condolences from former South African president Nelson Mandela and singer Diana Ross were read out to the packed Staples Centre.

Mandela’s message was read by singer Smokey Robinson.

“Michael was a giant and a legend in the music industry. And we mourn with the millions of fans worldwide,” Robinson began, on behalf of the South African icon.

“We had great admiration for his talent and that he was able to triumph over tragedy on so many occasions in his life.

“My wife and I, our family, our friends, send you our condolences during this time of mourning. Be strong, Nelson Mandela.”

Diana Ross’ message were shorter, confirming that she would not be attending the public service in Los Angeles, choosing instead to “pause and be silent.”

“This feels right for me,” Ross said. “Michael was a personal love of mine, a treasured part of my world, part of the fabric of my life.

“Michael wanted me to be there for his children, and I will be there if they ever need me. I hope today brings closure for all those who loved him.”

Jackson’s brothers and sisters gave heartfelt tributes of their own to their beloved Michael, and the service was closed with a host of stars on stage – including Michael’s three children – singing along to We Are The World.

When the ceremony had ended, pallbearers carried Jackson’s golden coffin covered in red flowers outside and loaded it into a black hearse for burial and the Jackson family’s private wake.

It is not known where Michael Jackson’s body will finally be laid to rest.

Earlier in the week, Debbie Rowe broke the news that Michael Jackson wasn’t the biological father of his three children, Michael Jr., Paris, and Prince Michael II. While the Jackson clan have denied the claims, it appears they aren’t as false as first thought; however, Rowe – who says Jackson paid her to have his children – isn’t the biological mother of the two eldest Jacksons, either.

According to “multiple sources” connected to the births of the Jackson children, all three children were conceived in vitro – outside of the womb, courtesy of anonymous donors. The sources say that Michael did not donate his sperm for any of his children, and Rowe, who was until now believed to be the mother of Michael Jr. and Paris, was nothing more than a surrogate carrying another woman’s eggs.

As for the third Jackson child – Prince Michael II, aka ‘Blanket’ – it is not known who his real parents are. The surrogate, it is believed, was never told of the identity of the “receiving parent,” and so didn’t know she was carrying a baby for pop superstar Michael Jackson.

What this news will do for the coming custody battles, no one knows. We’re told this type of case has never been litigated in California courts before, so it’s anyone’s game, basically. Rowe has said that she has no intention of challenging the Jackson’s for the right to raise her children, but with the children’s inheritence on the tables – quite a significant amount of money – there’s no telling whether or not the onetime wife of the Thriller singer will change her mind before the matter has been settled.

Debbie Rowe, the onetime wife of the late pop superstar Michael Jackson, has finally broken her silence on what she calls their three-year “sham” marriage, and reveals that Jackson isn’t the biological father of at least two of his three children.

Rowe, who was expected to challenge the custody of her children in court prior to this announcement, claims that the two eldest Jackson children – Prince (12), and Paris (11) – were artificially inseminated by an anonymous donor. If this statement proves to be correct, it will certainly make any court proceeding pertaining to the kids’ custody a lot more interesting and difficult.

The eldest son of Michael Jackson, Prince Michael Jr., thought his pop star father was simply joking around when he collapsed on the living room floor and went into cardiac arrest, a source close to the family has revealed.

PMJ – Prince Michael Jr., 12 – reportedly watched Dr. Murray’s frantic attempts to revive his father while “in a trance,” believing up until the last minute that it was all just a big joke orchastrated by his father, who loved to clown around with his children.

Jackson family biographer Stacey Brown explained:

“The horror of it all is that Prince thought his dad was just being his dad and clowning, but it was real, and he watched as they worked on him.

“Prince was stunned — in a trance — just watching.

“There was no movement, just looking around and not really processing what was really happening.”

At the time of his death, Jackson was staying in a $120,000-a-month L.A. rental home with his three children, his personal cardiologist, Dr. Conrad Murray, a security guard and his manager, Frank DiLeo. Prince Michael Jr. was the only child present for Jackson’s death; the other two children, Paris and ‘Blanket,’ were in another area of the house at the time of their father’s collapse.

It was left up to DiLeo to tell the other children that their father had died, a task the manager labeled as the “single most painful moment of [his] life.”

DiLeo said: “Whatever anyone thought of Michael, he was loved by those children, truly loved. They were — and are — in pieces.”

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father Michael Lohan has admitted that he’s learned his lesson, and regrets calling Samantha Ronson “a drug” earlier this year.

“I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha,” Michael said last week.

“I’m a Christian,” he added. “I should not pass judgement on anyone.”

Michael started a verbal feud between himself, his daughter and her lesbian partner, Ronson, back in September, when he called the DJ a “parasite” and a “disgusting representation of humanity.” He further attacked Ronson, claiming that she was only using Lindsay for her fame. Both Lindsay and Sam fought back, writing scathing remarks on their respective MySpace pages that labelled Mr. Lohan a “coward.”

Mr. Lohan also admitted that he’d been using the media as a way to “reach out” to his daughter, but now knew that public announcements weren’t the best way to win back Lindsay’s love and respect.

“In the past, I felt that the best way to get to her was to speak out publicly,” he said. “And it was the wrong choice.”

Michael added that he and his daughter were now on the path to reconciliation, and from now on, he would be keeping his opinions on her life private.

“Family matters should be kept private,” Lohan said. “I’ve learned that now.”

Lindsay lashed out at her father, and wrote on her MySpace Celebrity blog: “He has become a public embarrassment and a bully – to my family, my co-workers, my friends and a girl that means the world to me.”

Her current mood was listed as “betrayed” at the time she published the blog post.

Lindsay added: “[My father has] no idea what is going on in my life. Samantha has not, and would never, sell me out.”

Samantha, LiLo’s alleged partner, also joined in the fight, writing on her MySpace page:

“Who’s out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break!

“Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins… [Lindsay's] gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who’s out of control?”

Michael added: “I go to church. I go and help people in rehab. That’s control. How can she say I’m out of control?”

In the wake of Michael Lohan’s slanderous comments about daughter Lindsay’s gal pal Samantha Ronson, the actress has decided to come clean, speaking out against her “loud-mouthed” father.

“He’s out of control,” Lindsay told Access Hollywood. “I want him to stop hurting and talking to the media about the people I love.”

Lohan added that she and her estranged father haven’t spoken in “some time,” but she couldn’t continue to let him say hurtful things about her mother and (suspected) girlfriend Ronson any longer.
