Elizabeth Taylor was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital yesterday, reportedly suffering from a “broken heart” after the shock death of her dear friend, Michael Jackson.

Taylor, who skipped the public and private memorials that were held for the King of Pop last week to grieve in silence, is said to be suffering “weakness, tiredness, exhaustion,” and “emotional draining” in the wake of Jackson’s passing.

“She hasn’t stopped crying,” a source revealed. “She and Michael were devoted to one another.”

The actress had been planning her trip to London for Jackson’s opening concert when she was told of his cardiac arrest and subsequent death. Taylor allegedly “began screaming” as soon as she heard the news, and has struggled to cope with the loss ever since.

Brad Pitt was “very emotional” when it came time to welcome his newborn twins into the world, the overseeing physician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, said.

“[Angelina and Brad] were talking, they were together [throughout the labour and delivery],” Dr. Sussmann told reporters outside the Fondation Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, were actress Angelina Jolie had been waiting out the remainder of her pregnancy for the past few weeks.

“It was an epidural,” Sussmann continued, “so [Angelina] was awake and speaking and laughing. [She and Brad] were happy.”

Hollywood actor Pitt was at his partner’s side the entire time. “He was my assistant,” Sussmann joked. The Fight Club star even cut his babies’ umbilical cords.

Sussmann said: “[Brad] was perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional.”

He then added that the caesarian was textbook, and that there were “absolutely no problems” with the birth.

But that doesn’t mean Ange will be allowed to leave early. The French doctor added that Jolie would remain in hospital for at least a few more days, until he has ensured that she and the babies are completely healthy.

“I don’t know [when they will leave the hospital],” Sussmann said. “[Jolie] will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn’t like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay.”

The doctor added: “The babies are fine. The babies are with the mother and father and they are [all] fine.”

In recent times, the pressure of her media-loving lifestyle as Mrs. Cruise has put a huge strain on her health, with Katie suffering from blinding headaches and regular fainting spells. Katie is said to be overly emotion and struggling to get a grip on her life, and hubby Tom has had enough.

A source explained: “Tom has been patient with Katie, supportive of her feelings and how she needed to get used to her new life. But he feels enough is enough.

“He is taking control back from Katie the only way he knows how — by telling her that if she doesn’t pull herself together, their marriage is doomed. He has even gone as far as to warn Katie: ‘I’m taking Suri with me if our marriage falls apart’.”

Katie is said to be so frail and confused that she’s already taken a back-seat in her daughter’s life, and hasn’t been seen in public with little Suri since mid-January. A source close to the struggling star has revealed that in her fragile state, Katie just can’t deal with a Suri right now.

“With Katie’s frail state, Suri is just too much to handle,” the source said.

Sounds like being the wife of Tom Cruise is turning out to be no where near as fun as it was in her childhood fantasy…
