“Desperate Housewives” Star in Critical Condition

Desperate Housewives regular Gale Harold is in a critical condition in an L.A. hospital after a motorcycle accident yesterday.

The actor, who plays Teri Hatcher’s boyfriend on the hit show, is currently in the USC Medical Centre’s Intensive Care Unit with serious damage to his shoulder and suspected “swelling of the brain”.

Harold’s rep issued a statement shortly after the accident, saying that his shoulder was “fractured” but that he was in a “stable condition.” However, a rep for the hospital has denied this, and said that the actor is still in a “critical condition”.

“Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery,” Harold’s rep added.
