Freeman Fell Asleep At Wheel

Police are still unsure as to what the cause was behind Morgan Freeman’s car accident on Sunday night,  but the latest theory is that the 71-year-old Oscar winner fell asleep at the wheel right before his 1997 Nissan Maxima crashed.

Freeman and a female passenger were driving on Highway 32 in Tallahatchie County last night when the Dark Knight star allegedly lost control of his vehicle, flipping the car several times. The actor was apparently on his way home to Charleston when the crash occurred.

Both Freeman and his passenger were airlifted to a nearby hospital. While Freeman’s injuries were originally cited as “servere,” Bill Luckett, a friend of the actor’s, said that his pal was now “sitting up and talking at the hospital.”

According to an unnamed source, Freeman has “broken several ribs and injured his knee.”

Lucas: “Shia Wasn’t Drunk”

Beatrice Lucas, the mother of actress Isabel Lucas – who was invovled in the Shia LaBeouf crash over the weekend – says her daughter is now out of hospital and back at work on the Transformers 2 set.

“There has been an enormous media thing with this in the [United] States,” Ms. Lucas told The Cairns Post.

“From Isabel’s perspective, it was just a normal car accident.”

“She’s back at work now,” Ms. Lucas added.

However, neither Beatrice or her daughter believes that LaBeouf was drunk when he crashed.

“Isabel would not get into the car with someone she thought was drink-driving,” Ms. Lucas said from her North Queensland home.

Obviously Isabel’s perception of “drunk” is a little off – police on the scene cited LaBeouf as being under the influence of alcohol, and the Indiana Jones star himself said that he simply doesn’t know how to have “just one drink.”

Earlier today, it was revealed that LaBeouf wasn’t the primary cause of the accident. A spokesperson for the L.A. Sheriff’s Department told the media that the driver of the other vehicle ran a red light; however, LaBeouf is still being charged for a misdemeanor DUI.

Accident “Not Shia’s Fault,” Say Police

Even though he was driving under the influence of alcohol – and breaking the law – last Sunday’s early morning crash was not the fault of actor Shia LaBeouf, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Sheriff, said that the Transformers star would still be charged with a misdemeanor DUI, but was not at fault when the accident occurred. Except for his blood-alcohol level, of course.

Whitmore explained: “The other car ran a red light and, if not already, they will be cited.

“The will now be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault.”

So it was mere coincidence, then, that poor ‘ol Shia got snagged by the cops for drink driving. Damn! If only that person hadn’t run a red light, he’d still be sitting pretty, driving around someone else’s girlfriend with an open stubby of beer between his knees.

Hulk Says God’s Will To Make Victim A Better Person

I have reported recently on the disgusting behavior of the Hogan family. Well things aren’t getting any better with them.

Hulk Hogan was on Larry King, talking about his family in general and his son Nick in particular. You remember Nick, he is the one who crashed his car, leaving his good mate and passenger in a permanently vegetative state.

As reported, Nick has been doing his utmost to get out of his 8 month jail sentence, claiming it is unfair and harsh.

As you can imagine, the publicity the Hogan’s have been receiving about all of this is less then flattering, which might explain why Hogan felt the need to go on Larry King and spill his guts.

So how did Hulk fare, was he remorseful for his son’s actions and compassionate to the victim?

Of course not, he is the Hulk after all.

He said that Nick’s accident, which put friend John Graziano in a vegetative state, was God’s plan to make John a better person.

Uh huh?

Hulk also accuses the media of being harsh to his family.

Gee I wonder why?

Here’s the video of Hulk on Larry King.

Samantha Ronson Suing Perez Hilton

Ronson Lohan When I first heard this, I thought, oh, oh, is this over all the gay talk? Will Staralicious be next?

No, this is over a previous defamation lawsuit Ronson filed against Perez 6 months ago.

Ronson claims that her former lawyer was crap and stuffed up the original July 2007 case (she is suing the lawyer as well).

The lawsuit claims that she was defamed by a story Perez posted claiming that the cocaine found in Lohan’s car in a May 207 crash actually belonged to Ronson.

Ronson will make her claim on Wednesday to the same judge that threw out the case in November 2007.

My advice, spend the bucks and get a better lawyer. The case won’t go to court and you can then get nice things written about you by Perez.

Never Been Kissed actress Drew Barrymore was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in West Hollywood on Monday, but was thankfully uninjured, authorities have revealed.

Barrymore was driving near Gardner Street and Santa Monica Boulevard at around noon when the accident occurred, Sgt. Kristin Aloma of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station said.

Aloma said the actress followed the offending driver after the collision in order to obtain the license plate number, which she got.

Police are still trying to track down the driver of the other vehicle, who rear-ended Barrymore’s car and drove away.

Nick Hogan Sentenced To Eight Months Jail

Nick Hogan

Nick Hogan was sentenced to eight months in jail, five years’ probation and 500 hours community service, and had his license revoked for three years, over the crash that left John Graziano with severe mental and physical disabilities.

In testimony to court, Nick comes across as a cold and spoilt child who has no remorse for his actions or sympathy for his victim.

The Garziano family had sought one year in jail, and said that the apology Nick made in court was the first one they had heard.

John’s father, Ed Garziano, says that when Nick went to the hospital to see John, he looked totally bored, and even shot dart guns and skateboarded around the hospital.

John’s sister Christian Carson, says that Nick has never apologized for the crash.

Sounds like a nice piece of work doesn’t he! Nothing but a scumbag.

That’s what you get when you spoil a kid rotten. I hope he has plenty of KY and soap on a rope for his stay in the slammer.
