Chris Brown Releases Apology

Chris Brown, who was arrested last weekend for his little bust up with girlfriend Rihanna, has apologized, saying he is sorry and saddened about the incident and was seeking counseling.

Brown has hired a PR company that specializes in crisis management and through them, issued a statement claiming that many media and blog reports have been wrong.

“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” he said. “I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”

I bet he is remorseful, it has cost him a bucketload of cash in canceled endorsements, not to mention the damage it has done to his image, which will take some time to repair.

Booty Call Triggered Rihanna Assault

A “booty call” text message from a mystery woman is believed to have triggered the violent confrontation between Chris Brown and Rihanna that resulted in extensive injuries to the pop star’s face.

The reports suggest that Brown received a text message from a woman wanting to see him later that day while riding in a silver Lamborghini with girlfriend Rihanna. The pair began to argue about the SMS, and Rihanna was “punched” in the face repeatedly, assaulted, and choked unconscious by Brown after trying to exit the vehicle.

Rihanna’s injuries, which include a bloody nose, split lip, a swollen and bruised face, and bite marks on her hand and arm, are said to be so severe that she may require plastic surgery to correct the damage made by her 19-year-old beau. Her eyes are so swollen that she could not open them properly for the police photographs.

The Umbrella singer has since cancelled her 21st birthday party, as well as an upcoming concert in Jakarta, while she recovers from her injuries.

Kanye West “Shocked & Devastated” at Rihanna’s Assault

Kanye West has told of his shock over claims that his good friend Rihanna was assaulted by her boyfriend and music collaborator, rapper Chris Brown, on Sunday evening.

West, who performed at this year’s Grammy Awards, where Rihanna and Brown were set to perform before pulling out at the last minute, said that he was left “devastated” after being informed of the attack shortly before taking to the stage.

“I was completely devastated during the performance,” he said.

“Rihanna is so important to our culture… to pop music,” West continued. “I feel like she is the most important artist in music and has the most potential. Her taste level and her age… she has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time.”

The singer has extended his support to the injured pop star, saying that he would do “everything” to help Rihanna, someone he considers family.

“I feel like [Rihanna's] my baby sis,” West said. “I would do any and everything to help her in any situation.”

While West said he didn’t want to speculate on how the assault came about, he insisted that in his mind, there could never be any excuse for battery. “I don’t care how famous she is or even if she just worked at McDonald’s… [abuse] should never happen. It should never come to that place,” he said.

I’m pretty sure that’s the first sensible thing that’s ever come out of Kanye’s mouth. Now I’m in shock.

No Weapon In Rihanna Assault

Despite earlier releases of the crime report in the Chris Brown arrest refers to assault with a deadly weapon, there was, no weapon involved in the alleged attack.

It is worth nothing that body parts can be considered a deadly weapon depending on the circumstances of the assault. In this case, there are reports of Rihanna suffering contusions and bite marks.

A heavy petting session gone wrong perhaps???

Eyewitness At Hospital Reports Hearing Rihanna Screaming

RadarOnline reports that an eyewitness at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles has confirmed that it was Rihanna who was treated for injuries allegedly inflicted by Chris Brown.

The eyewitness had been waiting in the ER corridor when Rihanna was brought in by a back entrance. Rihanna, had dark sunglasses on and her hood drawn tightly around her face, trying to conceal her identity. Flanked by two LAPD officers, she was taken into a room across from the witness.

Realising that the person on the gurney must be someone famous, due to all the attention she was receiving from from security  and medical staff, the witness decided to take a sticky and was able to make out that the person was in fact Rihanna.

A detective spent about an hour interviewing Rihanna, with an emotional Rihanna was screaming and crying during her interview.
