Mischa Barton is Happy

Whatever caused Mischa Barton’s mysterious breakdown a few weeks ago seems to be well and truly gone, with the actress insisting that she’s fine and feeling great.

“I’m feeling great!” Barton told OK! magazine. “I’m really happy.”

Barton was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre late last month after being kept under psychiatric hold for three weeks, and returned to work soon after, joining the set of the new CW production, The Beautiful Life, last week.

The former O.C. star told OK! that filming had begun, and was “going really well.”

“I’m excited,” she added.

Barton attended the Arizona Ice Tea-sponsored party for Music Unites over the weekend, and was seen snuggled up on a sofa at the Cooper Union Hotel for most of the evening, sipping on water and talking to a fellow reveller.

An onlooker told OK!: “[Mischa] seemed to be in a good mood. She was smiling and appeared to be genuinely happy.”

Mischa and a female companion left the party at around 10:40 p.m. to “go home and watch True Blood.”

Angelina Jolie Breaks Down During Interview

Angelina Jolie had a weeping moment during a London press conference, as she spoke about her mother who passed away in January 2007.

Jolie was in London with Brad Pitt, to promote her new film, The Changeling.

During the interview, she paid tribute to her mother, telling the attending media:

“Her name was Marcheline, but we used to call her Marshmallow, as a joke, because she was just the softest, most gentle woman in the world.”

I am sure many can sympathise with her here, but you do have to remember that she is a talented actress and you would have to question the timing of the whole performance, coming so close to Jenn’s recent comments.

Britney Suffers Another Breakdown

Britain’s Now magazine reports that Britney suffered another breakdown last month after her sister gave birth to her daughter.

On seeing her niece, Britney cut her trip short and flew back to LA, where she spent the next two days she appeared dazed and distant.

Like that is anything new!

She wouldn’t answer any of her dad’s questions and was withdrawn.

After finding Britney naked and crying on the floor of the bathroom, where she was mumbling to herself that she wanted a baby girl, her father became so worried that he called her doctor, who came straight over and diagnosed a breakdown.

“Seeing her little sister give birth was too much for Britney. It made her realize what a mess she’s in. She’s insanely jealous of Jamie Lynn having a girl because she’s always been desperate for a daughter.

‘Jamie found her sobbing her heart out and repeating: ‘It’s not fair, Dad, it’s not fair.’

“He sat with her, cuddled her and stroked her hair. Then he got her some clothes and helped her into the bedroom before calling the doctor, who ordered her to rest.

Apparently they have now bumped up meds.

Jealousy is a curse, that’s for sure. You think she would have no reason to be jealous, her life is what she has made it after all.

Brooke Hogan Cracking Up

Even though Nick Hogan is the one doing time, it is his older sister Brooke who seems to be doing most of the suffering.

“She’s suffering the worst of all; she just can’t keep it together and has been hit the hardest, she is extremely sensitive and her emotions are spiraling out of control. Brooke’s relationship with her father was severely strained after his reported infidelity with her former friend made news in February.”

Brooke’s father HUlk Hogan is putting a lot of the blame for the family’s troubles at the foot of their reality TV show, which he admitted in court is not reality at all, but totally scripted.

“I was offered lots of [reality] shows when I was making my career comeback against The Rock, but I kept saying no. But years later, it was my daughter’s career and son’s racing career that we were thinking about.”

“We saw the Ashlee Simpson show and Jessica Simpson’s and Lindsay Lohan on the big screen and we just didn’t haven’t a vehicle to compete,” he said. “But I considered it, because this time it was about the Hogan family rather than Hulk Hogan; they all wanted to do it and I tried to warn them about what they were in for. Now look what happened.”

Gee, who’d have thought that their reality show is not real at all??? None of it looked scripted to me…….
