After nine months of matching outfits, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden have called an end to their relationship.

Hilton’s rep confirmed the split on Tuesday, and said that although the pair still “love” each other, they’ve decided to simply remain “friends”.

“Even thought they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends,” a source close to the heiress revealed.

Remaining friends is easier said than done, especially if Paris’ friends are to be believed. They say that the reason for the split wasn’t to keep their friendship in tact, but because the Parasite was sick and tired of Benji’s “overprotective and controlling” nature.

Another source said: “Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn’t get along with any of [Paris'] friends.

“Friends thought Paris had changed since being with Benji and she wants to be herself again.”

And by herself, I’m assuming she means getting back to her sex tape, drink-driving roots.

Now that they’ve gone their separate ways, does this mean their gig in Sydney is off?? One can only hope…

Watch out, Australia! The Parisite and her tattooed lover, Benji Madden, are heading Down Under this New Year’s Eve!

The professional partier and her rocker beau will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party at a secret Sydney location, it has been confirmed.

“I can’t wait to be partying with the Aussie and Benji deejaying by my side,” the Hiltonite said from her Los Angeles base.

Australian entrepreneur William Scott – the man behind Facebook look-a-like The Bongo Virus – is behind Hilton’s trip to Oz. He will be streaming Hilton’s New Year’s appearance live on www.bongoparis.com, so anyone with a few dollars to spare will be able to watch the blonde bimbo in action on their mobiles and computers.

Paris said in a statement: “I love the idea… Sydney is going to go off this New Year’s Eve with The Bongo Virus.”

Mr Scott said he is expecting “millions of people” to tune in to Bongo to watch Hollywood’s biggest parasite in action this December.

Like all of her fads, it looks like the ‘I want to be a rock chick’ phase has ran its course for Paris Hilton.

Paris has apparently split with Benji Madden and is now dating a much older man.

Benji was spotted moving his gear out of Paris’ Hollywood home, with friends saying he has now seen through Paris and realised that she is only interested in publicity and that she will use anyone to get it.

Benji reckons he should never have left Sophie Monk and he has been calling her to try and win her back.

Paris, 27 has been wasting no time getting over Benji, partying last month with Manchester United’s Christiano Ronaldo, before moving on to her new squeeze.

So who is her latest bedroom companion? Non other than 42 year old MySpace co-founder and CEO, Chris DeWolfe, who she has been dating for a few weeks.

DeWolfe has been throwing parties in the Hamptons, and Hilton has been at all of them. DeWolfe is hosting yet another party tonight in the Hamptons, and Hilton will reportedly be there as his date.

Although married, DeWolfe is reportedly separated from his wife.

Paris HIlton, searching for credibility donned some white chick rock clobber in a failed attempt to look the part of a groupie mole for Benji Madden at the Wasted Space Rock Club Grand Opening in Las Vegas.

The way Paris’ flame is flickering out, she can not afford to let this one go. I wonder how long before Benji wakes up to the the fact that she just doesn’t cut it.

You know it just has to be eating her up inside. She has tried all kinds of tricks to get back into the public eye, from embracing religion, to talking about marriage and babies; so far none of it is working.

You had your time Paris. It lasted longer then you it had any right to, but you are yesterdays news. Sure you still get publicity, but nothing like the amount you once attracted. Sit back and enjoy your life as a publicity hungry has-been.

You have a couple of tricks left up your sleeve yet, in the break glass in case of emergency vein, i.e. marriage and pregnancy, but they really can only be pulled it as a last resort and will be the act of a desperate woman.

Oh, I forgot, you can always go down the adoption route, but that has pretty much been done to a dinner and given your past with caring for pets, I don’t fancy your chances.

It’s all about weddings today!!

After the nuptials of Beyonce Knowles, and the upcoming wedding of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz comes the news that new couple Paris Hilton and Benji Madden want to tie the knot.

Parisite herself let the news slip to People on Thursday night at London’s Nobu, admitting that a wedding is in their near future.

“[Benji] wants to [get hitched],” Hilton said. “We talk about [getting married].”

Included in that wedding talk is what kind of dress the Parisite would wear – designer, of course.

“I’d wear a beautiful white dress,” Hilton said in a dreamy voice. “Probably Dolce & Gabbana.”

The couple, who’ve only been together for just shy of three months, were all over each other as they dined with family at Nobu, with the Parisite constantly bragging about “how perfect” she and Duff’s ex, Madden, are together.

“We are the perfect match,” Hilton said. “We don’t like being apart, we like to stay with each other as much as we can.”

The 27-year-old continued with her love-sick spouts, calling Benji “down to earth” and distancing her new beau from her old disasters like Stavros, Jason Shaw and Paris Latsis.

“[Benji] is very down to earth,” she said. “He’s worked very hard on his own. He really has a heart of gold. He’d never do anything to hurt me. He loves and supports me no matter what. He’s a really great person.”

Seeing these images from the pair of them clubbing does seem kind of strange when you consider what is being reported about Paris’ latest statement.
She now claims to have changed her life and puts it all down to Benji.

“When I was younger I loved to go out, but now that I’m in a really great relationship it’s so much more fun to stay at home.

We don’t really like to go out. We have game night where friends come over and play Monopoly.

I get home to find out that Benji Madden is telling all about his undying love for the oxygen sapping machine Paris Hilton.

Telling Yo on E! on Sirius Radio, Benji said:

“We were in love before anyone even knew we were together.”

“We have known each other for a long time, and I’ve always known the real Paris. I always knew that she was like…wife material or serious girlfriend material. You’re getting a lot of personal sh**t out of me, man!”

“You just want to get on top of a mountain and go, I’m in love! But your fans would probably make fun of you.”

The deluded fool even says that nothing would make him happier then to marry the attention craving leech Paris.

As Paris is well and truly on the way out, I would expect her to be moving Heaven and Earth the try and get married. I would go so far as to predict that she would actually be trying for a baby, except I am not sure if even she is stupid enough to think that she could endure a pregnancy; sure I can see here going:

“A baby, that’d be cool,”

but actually going through with it might be too much even for her to endure to grab attention.

Don’t rule it out though, she will get three bites of the cherry.

Paris Hilton may not have a child yet with her Good Charlotte rocker beau, Benji Madden, but that doesn’t mean she wants to miss out on a wedding when good pal Nicole Richie and Joel Madden walk down the isle.

According to a source, the Hiltonite is desperate to have a lavish double wedding with the Madden brothers and Richie, but not because it would be super duper cute and cheesy, or because she loves the trio so much. No, Paris has a different reason for suggesting the double extravaganza… and it involves money… lots and lots of money!

Ms. Hilton’s only interested in marrying her rock n’ roll partner (who she’s not even engaged to yet), as she thinks she’ll be able to make a few bucks out of the ceremony. The source revealed that Paris is hoping to sell her wedding album to the highest bidder, thus adding to her multi-million dollar bank account.

“Hilton said she wants to [marry Benji] in order to sell the pictures from the wedding and thinks she could rake in millions,” the source said.

“She’s doing it all for attention, as usual. It’s a publicity stunt, just like everything else.”

$138,000, that’s what Parasite Hilton got paid for turning up at trendy Mayfair nightclub Mahiki on Monday night.

The Parasite was her usual reliable self, arriving two hours late, then leaving after 50 minutes ‘work’.

Worried club managers were phoning the Parasite to see where she was, and were told that she was having her hair and nails done, and she also had a catnap because she was tired after all her traveling. The club had paid the Parasite for three hours ‘work’, so they got totally gipped. Mind you, I think anyone who pays her for breathing in their vicinity needs therapy.

Her Parasiticness managed to milk nearly $200,000 for the week, with her appearance at Mahiki and another one at Crystal.

During her brief stay at Mahiki. she asked for champagne and shots, before moving onto $200 Treasure Chest cocktails.

The Parasite also spent 8 minutes of her 50 minutes at the club in the toilet, at a cost to the club of $22,000. Must have had a bad dose of the runs… Yeah, that’s it, I am sure….
