“So You Think You Can Dance” Star Charged With Rape

Alex Da Silva, a former choreographer on the hit U.S. reality show So You Think You Can Dance has been arrested on suspicion of rape… again.

According to police, Da Silva was arrested this morning at his North Hollywood home for allegedly sexually assaulting four women. However, because of his previous arrest involving rape claims (for which he was never formally charged), the choreographer is being slapped with eight felony counts of assault.

The charges are as follows:

- Four counts of forcible rape

- Two counts of assault with intent to commit rape; and

- Two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object.

The alleged assaults took place between August 2002 and March 2009, according to the District Attorney, who filed the arrest warrant earlier today. The victims – four women between the ages of 20-26 – were all “aspiring dancers” who met Da Silva through his instructional dance classes.

Da Silva was previously arrested for the rape of four women back in April, but the case was thrown out the window without charge, with prosecutors admitting that further investigation was needed before they could move forward with actual charges.

It looks like now they’ve got the proof they needed.

Da Silva is being held on $6.2 million bail.

I guess this means he can kiss his SYTYCD contract goodbye.

Michael Douglas’ Son Arrested Over Drugs Charges

Cameron Douglas, the troubled son of famed actor Michael Douglas, has been arrested in New York City for possession of methamphetamines with the “intent” to distribute.

So, in other words, Douglas has been busted for dealing drugs.

The 30-year-old was taken into custody earlier today by federal authorities, and at this stage, remains in custody.

This isn’t the first time Cameron has been arrested over drugs charges. In 2007, he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance – cocaine – after a syringe with the liquid drug was found in his car.

Reps for Cameron’s father, Michael, refused to comment on the situation.

Burn Notice Star Nabbed for DUI

Burn Notice star Jeffrey Donovan has just joined the long list of celebrity DUI’s after he was caught under the influence and behind the wheel in Miami Beach last weekend.

The 41-year-old was arrested on suspicion of DUI last Sunday, July 12th, according to TMZ.com, and after snapping a photo or two for the cop shop, was later released.

The arresting officer told the celebrity gossip site that Donovan was cooperative, but didn’t think he should be arrested because he was only “borderline” drunk.

“I really think I’m only borderline and not too drunk,” the actor said, after swerving and screeching his tyres to avoid hitting a stationary police car.

When asked what he’d been doing, Donovan allegedly told the officer: “Sorry, I didn’t see the red light or your stopped car.”

The cop said he was alerted to the actor’s excessive drinking by “a strong odour of alcohol,” and when he asked Donovan if he’d had anything to drink, the star replied: “I had three drinks at the Fontainebleau.”

He was then taken into custody and officially charged with one count of DUI – something that could see the actor serve up to 6 months in prison.

While Donovan’s rep had no comment on the charge, the actor himself said that his only mistake he’d made was that he “[drank] Benadryl with 3 glasses of wine.”

Heather Locklear Arrested

Heather Locklear has been arrested in California on suspicion of DUI.

TMZ.com is reporting that Ms. Locklear was pulled over while driving in the Santa Barbara area, and was taken into custody by police when they believed the actress was driving under the influence of drugs.

The former Melrose Place star was released without bail. Police have revealed that alcohol was not involved in the incident.

Kanye West Busted for Vandalism

Temperamental celeb Kanye West has been arrested for felony vandalism at LAX.

Apparently, Mr West went AWOL when he found a photog trying to take his picture at the American Airlines terminal, and smashed the journo’s still camera to the ground.

Unfortunately for Kanye, the photog he confronted wasn’t the only one there. A TMZ.com employee was also on the scene with a video camera, and had managed to catch the entire confrontation on tape. When Kanye and his bodyguard figured that out, they wrestled with the second photographer and threw the video camera to the ground, breaking it.

But Kanye wasn’t finished with the paps yet. Realising that his act of vandalism had been caught on tape, West “rushed” at the second photog again and yelled, “Gimme that f**king tape!”

The photogs were saved from further abuse when both Kanye and his bodyguard were taken into custody and booked.

DMX House Raided – Facing More Charges

DMX was arrested for the second time in a week early Friday at his home in Arizona.

A SWAT team with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office raided his home at about 3 a.m, but were met with DMX barricading himself in his bedroom.

During a search of his home, cops found a number of weapons and drugs, as well as five pit bull puppies.

The indictment stems from an August search of the rapper’s home prompted by reports of dogs being abused on his property. Detectives seized 12 pit bull dogs and dug up the remains of three others on the rural property.

Kate Hudson’s Stalker Has An Axe To Grind

Police have arrested Kate Hudson’s stalker, thankfully before he caused any harm.

Neil Bergman, 44, was arraigned on burglary charges and is being held on a 30 day mental evaluation.

When arrested, police found, two axes and lots of women’s clothes in his car. He also allegedly made statements to the police that indicated he has a less then healthy interest in Kate.

Very creepy stuff. The worse thing is, that he could get out pretty quickly, so they had better be on the lookout.

Dennis Rodman Arrested For Battery

Wedding-dress-wearing NBA star Dennis Rodman was arrested in L.A. last night on suspicion of felony domestic battery.

The former sports star was arrested at a Century City hotel at around 11:00 p.m. last night, and was later released.
