Katie Price Wants to Adopt

Jordan – aka Katie Price – has found the perfect cure for the stress of her bitter divorce with soon-to-be ex-husband, Peter Andre: she’s going to adopt a baby!

The model, who already has three children of her own, is said to be “seriously considering” adopting a fourth child after suffering a painful miscarriage just weeks before ex-Andre filed for divorce.

“I want more children but there’s no way I’m rushing into the physical upheaval of getting pregnant again after losing Pete’s baby,” Price told a pal.

“The pain of that was too much to bear.

“I’ve been blessed with success and financial security and I feel it’s time to share that.”

When they were still together, Katie and Pete had discussed the possibility of adopting a disabled child (as Price’s oldest son Harvey – from a previous relationship – is disabled). Now that they’re divorcing, Katie has decided to go it alone and adopt without her former husband.

However, Price’s pal states that unless Katie is willing to “rearrange” her new hectic party schedule, there’s no way she’ll be able to adopt – let alone care for – another child.

“Katie’s lost interest in appearing like the perfect mother, and doesn’t care if people want to keep on judging her,” the friend revealed.

“She really wants to cut loose like the old days.”

Madonna to Adopt Again

Madonna has admitted that she’s considering adopting for a second time.

The aging pop star told Nation newspaper that thought of giving son David Banda a brother or sister from his own country has crossed her mind. “It’s something I have been considering,” she said. “But [I] would only do [it] if I had the support of the Malawian people and the government.”

Madonna added: “Many people – especially our Malawian friends – say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister.”

Liz Rosenberg, the 4 Minute singer’s rep, confirmed the report, telling People, “Madonna has stated many times that she’d love to adopt again.”

Does this mean Madonna’s turning into an Angelina Jolie clone? Let’s hope not!

Miley Says, “Adopt Me, Brangelina!”

On the Oscars red carpet last night, troubled tween starlet Miley Cyrus told a dapper Ryan Seacrest that she wants serial adopter, Angelina Jolie, to adopt her.

Cyrus informed Seacrest that she planned on stalking Jolie and her partner, Brad Pitt, throughout the evening “because [Jolie is] beautiful and I love her, and she can adopt me.”

Since she’s only from Tennessee, I don’t think she’d be quite foreign enough for the Jolie-Pitts. Maybe Miley would have better luck with the Lopez-Anthonys… or Jessica Simpson.

Jolie Exhausted, But Wants More Children

Mother-of-six Angelina Jolie has admitted that she and partner Brad Pitt are “exhausted” by looking after their growing brood.

The couple – who made their first public appearance together since the birth of their twins at the premiere of Jolie’s new film, The Changeling, in New York – said that while looking after six children was draining, it hadn’t put them off wanting more.

When asked by paparazzi if they were done having children, Jolie and Pitt laughed and answered, “No.”

Rumour has it that the pair are already on the look-out to adopt another child, this time from one of Africa’s third world countries.

Brangelina to Adopt Ethiopian Boy

With a brood of four already at home and two more on the way, you’d think Angelina and Brad would be quite content with their larger-than-average family. Wrong!

OK! magazine is reporting today that Hollywood super-couple Brangelina have already started making plans to add another child to their ever-growing family, hoping to adopt a baby boy from Ethiopia.

An insider told the magazine: “Angie and Brad have wanted an African boy for the last couple of years.

“They were initially going to have that adoption follow the addition of Pax last year, but that all changed when Angie got pregnant with twins last fall.”

The insider added: “Angelina was pretty far along in the process of adopting a beautiful baby that captured the couple’s heart when she and Brad got the surprise of their life and found out they were expecting.”

This is getting beyond ridiculous now! Can’t someone step in and stop Brangelina in the same manner that Paris Hilton was banned from buying more puppies?
