Megan Fox is Ridiculous, Says Director

MTV Movie Awards Insider

We all knew it, and now Fox’s Transformers director Michael Bay has come forward and admitted that yes, Megan Fox is a tad ridiculous.

This statement comes after Fox, 23, slammed her own movie – yes, you heard it right – and the direction of blockbuster movie maker Michael Bay.

Fox recently told Entertainment Weekly: “I mean, I can’t s— on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don’t want to blow smoke up people’s a–. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting.”

Bay’s response? He “100 percent disagrees” with Fox.

“Well, that’s Megan Fox for you,” the director told Wall Street Journal. “She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do.

“You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, ‘Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.’”

The director then went on to name-drop just a little bit, a sort of Hollywood A-List justification that no, his movies don’t suck after all, and yes, they’re all about the acting. Kinda.

“Nick Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did Transformers - and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawerence, from Bad Boys,” Bay said.

He added: “Nodoby in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers.

“I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films.”

In others words, Bay is telling Fox to be a little more grateful, because he’s the reason she’s famous.

If I was Bay, I’d just cast some Megan Fox look-a-like in the third Transformers film and be done with it. And then say tough titties, Megan.

Jolie Hints at Acting Break

Angelina Jolie, one half of the super couple Brangelina, has revealed that she may well give acting the flick for the sake of her adopted – and biological – children.

The 33-year-old said that her family is now the most important thing in her life, and would have no issue in giving up her career to better their lives.

“The kids are my priority, so it’s possible that from now on I will make fewer movies. I may even stop altogether,” Jolie told Italy’s Vanity Fair magazine.

“I no longer have the ambition I had in my 20s.”

Don’t get your hopes up too much though, folks. The Mr & Mrs Smith star only said it was “possible” that she’d quit, which, in other words, means there’s about a 0.001% chance of that actually happening.

A girl can dream, though, right?

For those of you concerned about Tara Reid’s absence from acting, fear not! The American Pie star has come forward with the reason why we’ve not seen her on the big screen for some time – she supports the writer’s strike!

Yes, Ms. Reid is mistakingly under the impression that the writer’s strike which affected the production in the world of both television and film is still in effect. Poor little dear must have been hiding under a rock for the past nine months.

“I totally plan to go back into acting once the [writer's] strike stops,” Reid said at Eva Longoria’s benefit gala last week.

The economy is so bad right now that people are afraid to put money back into acting. Even the shows that seem new, they really shot six months ago,” Reid added. “So when it’s all back up again, I will go back into it. That’s my heart.”

In the meantime, Reid plans to release a clothing line – Mantra by Tara Reid – to tide her over until this acting thing picks back up again. No doubt the line is tailored to fit those who’ve had plastic surgery mishaps like Reid. Chocolate blancmange-belly pants, anyone??

Harry Potter star Emma Watson will give acting the flick in favour of furthering her education after the final film in the boy wizard franchise, The Deathly Hallows, has been completed.

The actress, who was reluctant to sign on for the last two films in the series, says that she plans to attend university next year, fulfilling her “need to study.”

“I would like to go to university and complete a degree so that will mean a break from acting,” Ms. Watson told the Daily Telegraph, UK.

“I’ve always tried to balance my education with my acting career, but I just don’t think it will be possible to juggle it with a degree course.
