Stand Up With Johnny For Safer Sex

That is the slogan for Johnny Depp’s new advertising campaign: “Stand up with Johnny for safer sex.”
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has allegedly been approached by Trojan condoms to become the face of their new ‘Magnum’ range.
If it comes off (no pun intended, I assure you!), the multi-million dollar contract will see Depp star in a series of television commericals advertising the new, larger range, using the slogan from above as the brand’s catch-phrase. As Kath & Kim would say… nooice!
And that’s not all! In an attempt to ’sweeten’ the deal for Depp, Trojan hopes to join the actor in launching an anti-AIDs campaign, which would include sending free condoms to third world countries like Africa, to stem the spread of disease.
Johnny, who has been a strong advocate for safe sex for years, is said to be considering the offer.
“He’s very interested and he’s trying to figure out if he can fit it in [between all this movie commitments],” a friend said. ÂÂ
I’m not going to make any further comment on this… I think the story pretty much ’stands up’ for itself…
