Spears Released From UCLA

After a little over a week in psychiatric care, pop star Britney Spears has been released.
TMZ.com is reporting today that Spears was allowed to leave the psychiatric ward at the UCLA Medical Centre, as she was no longer deemed a danger to herself or others, and so could no longer be held against her will.
An officer on the scene has told the paparazzi agency that the hospital let Spears go “because she was no longer required to stay there after 11:30 a.m.”
According to a source, Spears left quietly, the complete opposite to how she entered the hospital on January 28.
