Pete Doherty Attempts Suicide

Unable to handle ex-girlfriend Kate Moss’ new relationship with fellow muso, Jamie Hince, druggo Pete Doherty attempted suicide while stuck in Clouds House rehab centre in Wiltshire this week.
The Babyshambles front man was so overcome with jealousy, says a friend, that he downed an entire bottle of pills “in a desperate bid to block out the pain” of what he deems as Kate’s heartless betrayal.
Doherty’s minder, Johnny “Headlock” Jeannevol said: “Pete’s been really wound up over Kate showing off her new man.
“He saw an opportunity to take an overdose and took it. He told me he didn’t know what the pills were but thought ‘f*** it’ and took them all.
“He doesn’t care what drugs do to himâ€â€in fact, he likes finding out.”
Of course, his lack-lustre attempt at suicide didn’t work, and the only thing he got out of consuming the bottle of pills was a hangover and a day or two feeling “violently ill.” But isn’t that the way Pete spends every day? I thought a bottle of pills was like a party kick for the singer, not a way to try and kill himself.
