Paris Drops Appeal

This is the best news I’ve heard all day…
Paris Hilton has just dropped the appeal in her probation violation case, and so will actually spend 23 days in the slammer!!! Ok, so it’s not the 45 she was sentenced to, but at least it’s better than none!
TMZ says: “Paris’ lawyer has now officially filed a document with the court, abandoning her appeal of the sentence.”
Apparently, Paris believes that her attorney has gotten her the best break she could hope for (in having the sentence reduced to 23 days), and because of this, opted to drop the appeal and do the time.
I’m now waiting with bated breath for the milking I’m sure will come from this news… “oh, poor me, I had to do jail time, boo hoo,” etc, etc…
