Nicole Richie To Serve Sentence at Lynwood

According to TMZ.com, reality star Nicole Richie will serve her 4-day prison sentence at the Lynwood facility in Los Angeles, the same jail fellow celeb Paris Hilton called home for 23 days back in June.
At the time of her sentencing, Richie was given the option of serving her short term in a “private jail,” which are said to be much nicer and more comfortable than that of county prisons like Lynwood. However, as with all celeb jailings, Richie found a loophole… if she opted to be placed in a comfortable private facility, she would have to serve out her entire sentence, but, if she chose Lynwood, or some other county prison, she would be entitled to a reduced stay.
This means that because of Lynwood’s over-crowding problem, which saw pal Hilton serve only half of her sentenced term, Nicole may only be inside for as long as it takes to process her and throw her out again! Sneaky little thing, isn’t she?
