Nicole Richie Hospitalized

The Simple Life star, Nicole Richie, has been hospitalized, after feeling faint during the filming of the show’s new season.
According to a source, Nicole had just finished a massive 20 hour filming stint before she was rushed to hospital, and was due to start the next day of filming a few hours later, without time to sleep or eat.
Nicole complained to the show’s producers that she was feeling faint, and not taking any chances, they whisked her off to hospital.
Hospital staff gave Nicole fluids and food, and released her a short time later.
“Nicole has gained weight and is doing really well,” says the source. “She is proud of that. The producers overreacted-she didn’t need to go to the hospital.”
Shortly after her brief stay in hospital, Nicole’s rep issued a statement on the incident: “Nicole is home resting and will return to work this evening. We are proud of the weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health.”
