Only a month or so after reuniting with her ex-bff, Paris Hilton, and already Nicole Richie is following in the Parasite’s footsteps…
TMZ reports that early on Monday morning, Nicole was arrested for DUI. She was caught by police driving in the carpool lane and talking on her cellphone, after passing motorists called 911 when they “spotted her SUV going the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Burbank.”
An alcohol screening showed that Nicole was not under the influence of booze, however, she openly admitted to smoking pot and taking Vicodin before hoping in her vehicle.
She was booked at 4.50am and was later released at 7.15am, and a law enforcement officer says that while in jail, Nicole was “very cooperative and very humble.”
Nicole has hired celeb lawyer Howard Weitzman to help with her case.
