Nicole Kidman On The Set Of Australia

Nicole Kidman is filming Baz Luhrmann’s new movie, ‘Australia’, in Bowen, Queensland, just a few clicks up the road from where I live.

Well, a few clicks by Aussie standards, which is about 500 miles for all you non metric people.

Filming of this movie is about the biggest news item to hit Bowen since the outlawing of marriage between brothers and sisters. Well I made that last bit up, but with a population of only 9500, an A list movie is pretty big news.
