Mischa’s No Party Animal

Despite the rumours from the paps, ex-The OC beauty, Mischa Barton, insists she’s no party animal - and barely knows Paris and Nicole!
She said she’d much rather stay at home with family, friends and a good book, than go out and party with the Hollywood in-crowd.
“I know I look the part, and people used to come up to me in the street and talk to me as if I was a crazy party girl. But I don’t go out clubbing because that whole thing is too claustrophobic. As for shopping, I’d rather walk my dogs, Ziggy Stardust and Charlie Barton,” Mischa said.
“I cook a mean lasagne, and some people say my potatoes au gratin are pretty on fire.”
While some fans are disappointed with her simple life, Mischa says she’s happy with her life.
“I guess some people are disappointed. I’m always being associated with other girls, but we’re not in the same crowd. I have only met Paris Hilton once and that was in passing. I am friendly with Nicole Richie, but people see us at parties and assume we all know each other,” she added.
“I actually spend my evenings curled up with a good book. Dostoevsky and John Steinbeck are my favourites.”
So Nicole Richie isn’t her best friend after all…and Mischa might not like the Hollywood lifestyle, but her sister, Hania, certainly does…so much so, that’s she’s in rehab for it!!!
