Mischa Barton’s Alice With a Twist

Mischa Barton is set to star in a comtemporary version of the Lewis Carroll classic, Alice in Wonderland.

The film, Malice in Sunderland, by Simon Fellows and Jayson Rothwell, is set around “an American student who is hit by a London taxi and finds herself disoriented in Sunderland, where she has to navigate a macabre underworld of characters,’ reports Production Weekly.

Mischa will of course play the lead, and Fellows is due to begin filming in the UK early next year.

I was a fan of the classic Disney movie as a child, but this ‘re-vamped’ version sounds a little creepy…ÂÂ
