Mischa Barton’s a Lucky Sod
Former “O.C.” starlet Mischa Barton looks set to get off DUI charge with nothing more than a warning, after her case was continued until April 10 in a court session today.
Barton’s attorney, Anthony Salerno, has told TMZ that he believes the case will be resolved “favorably,” which means things will go in Mischa’s direction. As it’s only a first time DUI charge, Barton will probably only receive the standard sentence — probation, and a suspension of her driver’s license.
But hold the phone… don’t you have to have a license in the first place to have it suspended??
“Mischa’s working on that,” Salerno says. Which, in other words, means she still hasn’t got one yet, despite all the trouble she’s in, and most likely has no intention of getting one in the near future.
The attorney also said that he believes Barton’s marijuana possession charge would also be dropped. Why?? It was in the car!
Well, money might not buy happiness, but it sure keeps you out of prison.
