According to a number of well-known sources in the entertainment world, pop star Michael Jackson has died, age 50.
The singer was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest in Los Angeles earlier today. Unconfirmed reports told that CPR had been performed in the ambulance prior to arrival at UCLA Medical Centre.

UPDATE: TMZ has “unofficially” confirmed Jackson’s death. Officials on the scene say Jackson was without a pulse when they found him in his L.A. home, and they were unable to revive him. His parents are said to be at UCLA Medical Centre, where they are awaiting news of their son’s condition. Except a statement from a representative of the Jackson family soon.
