Mariah’s Porn Star Battle

Yet another celeb is battling a porn star over the use of their name!

Mariah Carey is in a battle with porn-star-turned-politician, Mary Carey, to try and block Mary from trademarking her stage name, because fans could get the two performers confused.

Mary’s real name is Cook, but the adult film star has been using the stage name of Carey for quite some time, and is not prepared to back down from the trademark application because of pressure from Mariah.

She said on Friday: “I’m ready to battle Mariah over this because I’ve been Mary Carey for a long time.” [Source]

Some of Mariah’s stage costumes are enough to get her confused with Mary, without the similar-sounding name!ÂÂ
