Madonna to Adopt Again
The Like a Virgin singer is on her way to Malawi this weekend, to screen a group of young girls for her second adoption, but already has her heart set on one in particular.
A source close to the star has told of how she fell in love with a smiling three-year-old named Grace, after seeing a documentary on the African care home she is currently funding.
“Madonna saw a film of children at a place called The Consol Home,” the source explains. “She spotted a beautiful girl called Grace who lit the room with her smile, and fell head over heels for her.”
“Madonna kept saying, ‘That girl has so much love in her. I want to help her achieve her potential’.“
“But adoption officials are being very strict after the uproar when Madonna adopted David. They know Grace is her first choice, but have insisted she looks at other girls first  and that the final decision is theirs.”
Madge’s husband, Guy Ritchie, will apparently not be travelling with her for this adoption. Whether it is work committments getting in the way of his participation, or something more, the source did not know…but what they did know, was that the adoption this time around won’t go as smoothly as the last.
Adoption officials have already warned the singer that she won’t be allowed to take this child home as quickly as she did David.
