Louis Vuitton Sues Britney

As if the Cheetoes Queen doesn’t have enough on her crispy orange plate already, fashion giant Louis Vuitton has hit the Gimme More singer with a whopping new law suit, over the use of their logo in one of her music videos.
In Britney’s 2005 video clip for her hit song, ‘Do Something,’ she “drives a pink Hummer with a counterfeit Vuitton ‘cherry blossom’ monogrammed dashboard.” The French designer company says the video has damaged their reputation, and have recently won a court injunction in Paris to keep the offending clip off European TV stations.

Spears’ video producer for the track has been ordered by the courts to pay $117,600 for damages to the Louis Vuitton image, and an additional $1,470 per day until they have successfully removed it from the internet. Good luck with that one!
