Not satisfied with creating a bad reputation for her poor work ethic and unreliability on one continent, Lindsay Lohan is expanding her dramas to Australian shores.
The Australian Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice awards event organisers had been negotiating with Lohan to attend the ceremony on Wednesday night Australian time.
It appears she has been as committed to the event as she is with her relationships.
Organisers report that they do not expect her to turn up for the event and have described the negotiations as a debacle.
“That woman, you could tear your hair out with her,” a source close to the events team said last week.
“We finally pulled the plug on her, so we’re progressing without her in place,” she said. “But I guess we can’t really say either way, because if we get a last-minute phone call, it’s not as though we’re going to say no.”
The Kids’ Choice management team had set a final deadline for Lohan to agree to a contract by Thursday of last week, but Lohan’s management had not responded to the deadline.
“No contracts were signed by our final deadline,” said the source. “It’s so hard to know what’s actually happening.”
Of course, the arrival of Lohan at any Australian event would generate a mountain of global publicity - it’s just a matter of getting the party-hardened star on a plane. [Source]
