Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar have married in a civil ceremony on Friday, and said their vows in a religious ceremony on Saturday in an English castle.
The couple officially wed on Friday at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, however, their second ceremony attracted the who’s who of British celebs and models.
Some of the celebs on the list included Elton John and husband David Furnish, Elle Macpherson, Yasmin Le Bon, designer Valentino, Prince Pavlos of Greece, shoe designer Patrick Cox, style guru Trinny Woodhall, Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon and actress Patsy Kensit.
The Rev. John Partington, who conducted the ceremony, said that Liz vowed to “love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health.”
“They had a choice of using contemporary language or old-fashioned language and they have chosen the old-fashioned language,” Partington said.
The ceremony today will be followed by a week of celebrations, and then another ceremony in India.
Boy, the celebs sure like their multiple ceremonies!!! I mean, seriously, who needs three weddings in a week??
