Lindsay’s Minders Give Tough Love

It looks like Linday Lohan’s got the right support network to stay sober this time around, with her minders adopting the “tough love” approach and not letting her have a single drop of alcohol.
Apparently, LiLo’s “peeps” have called ahead to all her old haunts and made it abundantly clear that there is to be no alcohol served to the Mean Girls star under any circumstances. This trick seems to be working so far, as Lohan attempted to order a vodka at L.A.’s Viceroy hotel last week, but was told by the waiting staff that they couldn’t do that.
According to a staff member at the hotel, Lindsay had just spent the last hour drinking with pals, when she decided that she’d prefer something a little bit heavier than the water she’d been sipping. “She was fine at first,” the source said, “but it was obviously too soon for her to be around people who were drinking, because she later asked the server for a vodka.
“But her people had called ahead and servers were told not to give in no matter how often Lindsay asked for alcohol.”
Lohan’s publicist has denied these claims, saying that her “people” have done no such thing for her, and that LiLo didn’t even ask for the alcoholic beverage. However, a guest that was at the hotel around the same time backed up the staff member’s story, saying she overhead the waitress say “that she was sorry but she wasn’t allowed to serve her. Lindsay walked out soon after, looking embarrassed.”
