Lindsay Says, “I Am Innocent!”

After a brief statement from her attorney yesterday, Lindsay Lohan herself has offered more short words, sending an email to CNN’s Billy Bush which said, “I am innocent.”
“Yes. I am innocent … did not do drugs they’re not mine,” Lohan told him, although I’m not sure how she expects anyone to believe that, given that the drugs were found on her person by the police in the station.
Reports surrounding the arrest claim that the police received a tip off in the form of a 911 call from the mother of Lindsay’s former personal assistant, who was supposedly being chased by a drunken Lohan in an SUV; however, Lindsay has a twist to this tale.
“I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin’s mom,” she said simply, as if that would explain why she was driving like a maniac and drunk.
When they arrived on the scene, the officers found the Mean Girls star and the woman in a “heated debate” in Santa Monica’s Civic Auditorium parking lot at around 1.30 am.
With nothing else left to say, Lohan, who’s currently spending time in an unknown rehab facility, said, “I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy.”
