Lindsay Lohan Just Shouldn’t Drive!

Yet again, drugged out celeb Lindsay Lohan is in trouble for crashing her car, this time being slapped with a lawsuit for hitting a parked van in late 2005.
After leaving the Ivy restaurant on October 4, 2005, LaLohan sped around a corner and struck a vehicle that was making an illegal U-turn in front of her, slamming her into the back of a parked van on Roberston Blvd.
At the time of the accident, Lindsay’s rep covered up what had happened by claiming that the paparazzi were chasing her, and she’d had no choice but to speed away from them. Witnesses who were at the scene tell a different story, however, and say that the young star was just “goofing and speeding.”
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has issued a statement saying, “Preliminary investigations have revealed that paparazzi were not a factor in the traffic collision…”
If Lohan is found guilty of driving recklessly, she could end up being responsible for crashing into the van, despite what the driver of the other car was doing.
The owner of the van filed a lawsuit on May 18 in the Beverly Hills Small Claims Court for $3,624.84. Apparently, the CEO of the company who owns the van contacted Lindsay shortly after the accident with a repair bill, but got no response from the star, and had no choice but to take her to court.
“Apparently, in Los Angeles, if you’re a celebrity you can do this stuff without getting in trouble,” the CEO said.
Lindsay’s rep had no comment on the issue.
This just begs the question… should Lindsay be allowed to drive at all?? She doesn’t exactly have a very good record… 2 known accidents, one collision with a photographer, an almost collision with a mother and daughter… she’s gonna end up killing someone soon…
